The pedestrian path hugging the embankment is really a nice touch - and yes, shaded glass is a thing; some tropical cities have those as roofs. Even wooden ribs are good enough for providing shade while still letting some sunlight in, and it keeps good airflow as well.

I'll be honest... but I think I prefer seeing the close-up cinematics of your cities rather than the wide shots you usually do. Being part of the crowds that detail up your cities might be an awesome sort of perspective, and I'd love to see more if it I'll admit.

to be honest i do not know how you aren't a lot more recognized, its amazing how you can make such a city with outstanding detail.

Great stuff as always. I wouldn't worry about the glass roofs issue. This is set in the future. If they are advanced enough in materials technology to build space elevators, it is not hard to believe that they have invented a glass like material that only lets light through.
This city is truly in a league of its own. I've watched a fair bit of CS content and nothing else I've seen comes close to this. I can't wait to see it finished.

Love the green roofs! Irl they're an excellent piece of green infrastructure. Not only do they help reduce the urban heat island effect, green roofs also provide habits for pollinators and birds, help manage express run off and rainfall, and help to reduce air pollution.

Might just be me but it feels like trains are a big part of this city, or you just talk about it alot. I can imagine irl downtown is filled with souvenir shops and the torism all themed around trains. Like the london tube.

I checked your mod list 3 times and I cant find a mod that allows you to place elevated train stops. 25:40 You use them to place stops in the air that you typically cover with PO's and elevated invisible walkpaths. Would be great if you could give a name of that mod. I search steam but cant find what youre using. Thanks!

What do you think about breeding animals on the roofs of big buildings, since it would provide the city food, very good! On the other hand be very good for the climate. I think a very interesting idea that should be implemented, what do you thing?

No, it's set in a vague tropical nation, with Japanese influences I guess.

@@regulate.artificer_g23.mdctlsk I'd say they're going for a generally vague modern style, though they use a lot of buildings from East Asia because they're quite fitting in the modern/futuristic style this city is going for.
