- Part 2 of my collection video at the end of 2016 holds many wonders and Radio Controlled delight. In this film I talk about refreshing your RC with a new body, my Monster Trucks, My construction RC equipment, as well as some of my larger RC machines.
Common questions have been:
Q) How many RC Vehicles do you have?
A) I estimate about 150-160. Its changing all the time
Q) What is the value of each rig?
A) I don't own any stock rigs anymore. Most of them are heavily upgraded. Approximately $900 (averaged out over 150-160 RC's of various value, when they are Brand New) (CAD value) This does not include all of the repair parts, or maintenance tools/supplies to keep them up to date and functional.
Q) How long have you been making RC Adventures, or Collecting RCs?
A) for 8 years on CZcams. I have enjoyed RC's since I was a young kid though. About 6 years old and my Dad brought home a Nikko.
Q) How much is the RC Skid Steer worth?
A) A Lot... haha ;) Its a pretty big machine and is certainly the heaviest, and most dangerous RC I have. I have to always remind myself that its not a toy, but a machine for serious work... Lol!
Q) What is your Favourite RC?
A) Any RC that can make me smile that particular day!
Q) Should I get into RC?
A) Simple Answer: YES, of course. RC is more then a hobby. It's an opportunity to meet friends and new family. Its a great way to challenge your mind - and to exercise. Get outside and have fun with RC!
Q) Are these every RC you have ever had?
A) All of these RC have been used in the creation of my show, RC ADVENTURES, on CZcams since 2009. I do not have all of my rigs, as they have worn out, or were given away to friends. I do not sell any rigs, or RC equipment.
Q) What do you do for a Job?!
A) I run the RCSparks Studio, and I am a full time CZcams film producer. I have been a full time producer for 5 years.
Q) How did you reach the value of your collection?
A) The value I have put on my collection, would have been at full purchasing price, new product. It is also valued in Canadian currency.
I am making an announcement coming early, about some of the changes that are about to happen on the channel. I believe it will all be for the good :)

cant wait love your show have been with it for multiple years now and it is especially good for learning new stuff and broadening the imagination i used to live in Alberta and wish i knew you then would have loved to come to the farm and do some muding and stuff has been an awesome show still is ill continue to watch and showing the collection is cool just as you said it brought back a bunch of memories from the show i was naming them all as you where going through them and remember most all and all the builds and it did answer some questions as far as where certain builds went lol keep it up
also you helped me when building my first serious rc as you gave me a lot of insight on how what to upgrade ext and i slowly built up my rc had a power wagon threw some metal stuff in there got all lights hooked up new motor brushed as i like water and mud new shocks basically remastered it if i had more money would have finished it but i made a couple videos on it would have never thought to make the videos if not been for the show you taught me a lot i tryed to use what you taught me to help teach others
I watch your channel because you make RC Hobbies how they should be ''FUN'' that's why I will continue to watch you this Aussie RC fan loves what you do never change Medic thankyou for letting us all be a part of your RC Adventures.
I've always been and rc hobby lover and thanks to your show I've been able to find the right gear to have fun outside rc driving.I was able to even talk my dad 54 yrs. old into picking up a New rc (axial deadbolt rtr) as well as my wife shares the hobby with us.thank you for bring family fun to me and my family.

well all I can say is I have been watching you and your family for over three years now along with my grandsons every day , And you were my first real rc person I could count on for your honest and great views on the fun of rc living, And I have over 30 trucks and cars as well as painting and extra tops, You are not a person ,that does it for the money, We all love you and your family and friends, because they all help in one way or another and it's about the hobby, not about how much you have, But more of what you have to share. Congrats on 8 years Medic! You, along with Flite Test for the flying machines, are the epitome of RC entertainment and education. I first got involved in RC through multirotors and airplanes, but after discovering your channel, I've started to dip my toe into the ground vehicle world. Your dedication, consistently positive attitude and funny Canadian accent (jk) are a constant inspiration to the hobby, and I always love seeing a new RC Sparks video in my feed. Here's to the next 8 years, keep up the awesome work!
I read a comment yesterday from an Australian Dad, saying his young toddler pretends they are me, and dig in a sand pit.. supposedly she does my "accent" very well.. LOL! I sure laughed when i read that. Thanks for commenting Jon. Have fun with RC.. there are no limits to your imagination..

So many memories seeing all the older trucks, so many times have I been stuck waiting a week, a month, or even a couple times having to just wait until next tax season to scrape up enough money to fix any one of my handful of RCs so I can at least play with one. This is an expensive hobby and I cant actually afford it but every time Im stuck with a shelf full sad broken toys with no hope repair an any reasonable time frame theres always an RC Adventure waiting for me just a few clicks away with new and different vehicles Ive never seen at absolutely no cost to me, thank you for making the opertunity to join in the fun for those who couldnt otherwise participate.

well i as most rcer;s know it's not like you went out and spent $200'000 in rc 's in one shot ! this is years of collecting. my collection is worth quite a bit also , again years of collecting. so be proud , you like the rest of us worked hard for what you have ! big thumbs up !! keep doing what you do best !!!

I used to watch your videos all the time and I was a crazy fan, sometimes staying all night watching your videos. The last time I watched you was at the end of 2012 and i've not watched you since then, A few weeks ago I came across your channel and I watched some of your old videos from the past and not gonna lie it triggered some memories. Hey medic just want to say thank you for all the AWESOME videos and you really have got true love for what you do. I just got my first electric Traxxas stamped in and just loving it. You are right it is a blast to be able to get outside with my 9 year old son and just tear some stuff up. Keep the videos rolling and I'll keep on watching.

Hey Medic. Way to go with 8yrs of great RC Adventures. I have been looking into a hobby that I and my wife can both do. I like RCs so I figured, hell, why not. when I went to research RCs on CZcams, you where at the top of the list. I have a fuel powered one coming to me that a buddy is giving me. I'm excited to get it up and running. Thanks Medic, you don't know it but you helped me figure out where and how I wanna start my own adventures.

I don't usually comment any YT videos but for you I make an exception. At first I disliked your videos - the whole idea of RC mudding (my very first RC Adventures I saw) sounded weird. But then you showed awesome Traxxas Slash bashing. It was you and your video that tipped the scale. Literally few weeks later I had it in my house. It was great fun. Long story short - it was fun but for various reasons it wasn't what i was looking for. And again - your videos helped me pick and choose my next truck. So I have sold Slash and after nearly a year of mental struggle I bought 2 months ago Axial SCX10 Wrangler (Casey Currie).
Finally I feel I have a truck that suits my need. And for that you have my sincere thanks. Keep up the great work there. Cheers.

Yes you make money from doing this, in the same way people make money from creating movies.
You make good videos for us to watch though, the amount of countless bad movies that still made people into millionaires, is ridiculous.
I think it's sad when people just want to troll because THEY are money minded and have nothing better to do.

man if I could have at least one of those rc I would be one of the happiest kid I the world because I have been watching since 2013 your channel is great and I started collecting all the rc I get from Christmas and my birthday my first custom I made was this summer I had a RadioShack chamaro and had a hot glue gun and got one of my toy trucks and some pencils for supports and converted a RadioShack chamaro to a Ford f150 inspired by you so ya I've been watching since I was 9 but now I'm still watching with no rc car also I'm really in to constructin rc vids but aside that I sincerely love your channel and hope you keep on growing because you are amazing thanks for staying awesome

Thank you thank you thank you hahaha. Its is true Medic you have definitely reignited my RC spark for the hobby and because of you and your show it has inspired me to start my own channel. Not for money not for fame but for the hell of it and it has made me realize a completely different aspect of the hobby, filming. I love it and for that I say thank you once again sir! I remember when that savage ballooned the tire so bad it was the size of a pizza! I remember when you guys unboxed those AMR Racing slash bodies, I also remember when you did the first "Running" video with the summit lol. all great memories. I think the first vid I saw on this channel was part 1 of the Tamiya Toyota Tundra build so long ago! congrats on 8 years medic!
HAHA! The running video :) So many people said I took myself too seriously, until I did that film. Then the problems went away on their own.. LOL!

hi, as much as I really really really want to dislike you........... I really can't. I've followed you and your channel for years. always couldn't get enough, watching and rewatching them.at the start, I was blown away, I've been into rc's for 45 plus years. building them professionaly for model shop displays, just buying, building and bashing. racing on road, racing off road. travelling to another country to race etc. now I'm in my twilight years I love trailing, crawling and tamiya big rigs. I really can't help meself, I still love you channel, I used to be very jealous, you were doing what I really wanted to be doing myself, then I realised you were lucky to be doing what your doing. you got the break, you worked hard to get where you are now. I still get twinges every now and then, but I still enjoy your videos. so keep em comin plz. 😀 👍 👍

Awesome👍, you definitely have helped my bank balance to drop!. I dug out my old rc10 about 5 years ago and slapped a brushless combo in it.
Since then I've gone from 1 RC to 10. 😀. Your bang on what you said about the confederate flag👍. I'm in the UK, the flag reminds me of jumping the hell out of cars, nothing more, nothing less. Keep up the amazing work👊🏻.
This is so cool. When I first started watching your videos it made me really want to get an rc car, and I really wanted a slash 4x4. I looked for months but could only find the 16th scale so I settled with that. To my dismay almost immediately after a few runs the chassis cracked(plastic) and the shocks blew out, I've had alot of fun with it but I haven't had the true experience of a larger model. Still love watching these videos even if I've been watching them for years on end.
I've been in and out of rc for a long time and have always enjoyed watching your videos throughout the years keep it up hope to see more great videos

I have probably been watching for 4 to 5 years
medic i cant tell you that you pushed me to buy my first RC car. I buy it earlier. I also cannot tell you that you flamed my spark for RC. BUT! you always give me a lot of fun with yours videos. I cannot afford for much, because im poor:P but i have one car and have much fun with it. because of you i cant forget about that cool RC. Now i get drone and trying to learn how to fly it. thx for your movies, do what you do, have fun, share with us and all best for you and your family!

Thank you for all your vids, I have been in and out of the hobby for many years, when I think I'm done with the hobby and take a break from it, your videos always seem to make me start over again 😀
One type of rc I don't see much of on your channel is 1/8 scale racing buggies or truggies unless I have missed the videos 😀 I have seen the brushless converted Losi 8t a few years back, but that's it!
I have recently got back into the hobby and race a losi 1/8 scale buggy, I would recommend one 👍
the best thing i like about RC Sparks i you dont baby all you RCs and gives us a very good idea on there breaking points
As such i have bought and gotten it to the hobby because of your gift of giving the viewer the truth about a lot of different brands of RCs

Many people over the years have said I dont respect my RC's, or that I just break them with no care. But in fact, you understand why I do it. Its an entertainment show, and I create this series to have FUN! RC's look great on a shelf.. but look better covered in dirt from fun times! Thanks for commenting Scott!

I've been watching your videos for a while. you've given me so many ideas. and some short cuts to some things. I burnt out a 2 motors ESC. like Mose money's tight. So I thought about somthing. with the big green bastard and the videos with the beast and summit. so I took 2 Redcat chassis's put them together and I'm running 1 ESC on 2 motors. might not be a big thing to most but I'm proud. and wanted to say thank you!!!!
