Linus, I am impressed by how delicately you called Ruto out. Well done. Bravo! I was not an Azimio supporter. Like very many - I was not impressed by either candidate, but thought Ruto was the more vigorous and hopefully a young nation could benefit from a leader with his dilligence. But I was WRONG.
RUTO is very shallow! He has been driven In life by one ambition: to get back at the Moi's and be President, by hook or crook. I don't know what the Moi's did to him - he seemed to have e gotten all his education at the feet of President Moi!? The wrong lessons - of politricks. So now he cheapens the Military- by disrespecting its highest ranking leader. Does he not know, politicians come and go, but the MILITARY remains!?
Does he think he is dealing with a "common" businessman? This shallow man's days are numbered.
Ruto will never recover from this! Eti he had beef with a Military leader whom he claims said he had no defence and was guilty! Ruto IS A LIAR. HE SHOULD READ REV 21:8. OR HIS WIFE CAN READ IT TO HIM.
HE has NO RESPECT for the deceased? Since when did people bring accusations about a dead man at his funeral!? Ruto KWISHA.

Well said, Linus. Respect is key to a force trained to such levels as these. And again, was General Ogolla thirsty for that position? From the tributes alone, you can see that he was measured and a man of integrity. The President himself confirmed to the country that merit guided the appointment. Fare thee well, General Ogolla.

Great leaders have their legacies speak for itself. Empty busybodies like some of the politicians we have do what the empty debes do - they shout on rooftops all the time while delivering hot air. Kweli Wahenga walinena, "Chema chajiuza na kibaya chajitembeza". Once again, rest well General Ogolla together with all the other KDF comrades who bowed out in the same tragedy. 🫡🫡🫡🪖🪖🪖

During Biwott's funeral, Ruto, the then DP, praised the late yet we know what Biwott did. Kivuitu did bad things at ECK but no one brought up his unethical conduct in his funeral proceeding. What was the need for this defense against a dead person? Personally, I will never believe anything from politicians, especially the current ones in the ruling party; Led by the president, this lot will say anything to win the public opinion and swiftly change if their previous sentiments contradict the present situation.

Do you know what is the entry grade to KMA? A B plan for cadets. They also recruit specialist in various fields ranging from cyber security, engineers, doctors, lawyers and any other profession and they take the best... Not quacks.

    Linus is oblivious again.
Military ranks in Kenya above Brigadier otherwise known as 'the General staff' or 'flag officers' are largely politically influenced because it is these ranks that are prestigious and very important in the military. The president and politicians pay very special attention to these appointments.
A politician say an MP can lobby successfully for the promotion of a fellow constituent in the military to one of these ranks.
That is why Ogolla steadily rose during the Handshake era.

  • @aliathmani7165

Your are talking of HR resolutions, second you see as who is entitled, which are all wrong, ask yourself where is Lt. Genaral Badi of nairobi governor, all those u see can as well retire in case other generals are promoted n remember the starting from one star general to four Star are people who can head the force, wait for surprises coming.

  • @ronothebaringoboy.1070
    @ronothebaringoboy.1070 Před měsícem

    Linus is really oblivious.
The military is all about LOYALTY.
Your career growth in the military largely depends on what your superiors think about you and how loyal you are to them, that can seem to be petty but that is how it is.
In the military almost every officer is equally qualified but percieved loyalties determine who rises above ranks.
Ogolla rose to his VCDF because it seems he was a bootlicker basing on how he obeyed dubious orders from his superior to go to Bomas only for a new CinC to take over.
The president does not have to follow Tonje rules. He can decide to pick from any side whom he feels comfortable to be his CDF.

Their is nothing like merit in the military but LOYALTY! It supercedes every attribute and determines every promotion than any other attribute.
Those in the military know these facts.
Merit matters in the civillian sector followed by other attributes.
