Gone For A Minute is music video #46 by Chris Record. It’s an original song written and performed by Chris that tells the story about how he took a 2 year break from creating content online to regroup and make a comeback after a painful loss of losing one of his biggest businesses.
This video was filmed at Jean Dry Lake Bed in Las Vegas Nevada. Chris Record pulled out his custom wrapped orange and black BMW i8 and set it on autopilot to drive over the lake bed while he rapped verses walking next to it. The video was filmed with a combination of drone footage and shots and handheld camera shots by Jordan Redila, and then edited by Sam Servidio. The BMWI8 was wrapped at Dipped Auto Works in Las Vegas, NV.

Man it's uncanny how your words speak about the inner struggle we're all going through, including myself. And that you went through the exact same struggles as everyone else, perhaps even more and worse struggles and you worked through them and came out Massive on the other side!!

Nice one, all is good but i especially like the honesty about fear and doubts in the later parts, it's always motivational to hear that those who kind of "made it" by most people's terms still have their own doubts and fears to deal with and it brings another level of authenticity.

What's up Chris. Well, I can definitely relate to this video and your journey. GONE FOR A MINUTE. Yes, my brother you have been gone for a minute a couple of times, and because I've stayed with you for years now, I can definitely understand why. You are very dedicated to what you do, and that's teaching others to be successful if they take action. Even though you've been GONE FOR A MINUTE, you always return with something fresh and exciting. No gimmicks or scams, but always something fresh and exciting, and those of us willing to follow your lead will produce.
Sometimes when you take on new partners to create the bigger picture sometimes it just doesn't work out because they elude your vision and what it is that you're trying to accomplish.
When you disappear I never worry. actually, I'm glad that you do. As I've stated in many of the first set of videos that you did a couple of years ago that I was concerned with your health most of all. Producing a quality video everyday was just unheard of. (still don't know of anyone that can match that endurance).
When I first met you at the 3C conference in Vegas, and a group of us ate lunch together, I personally told you then that I'd never seen any man that worked harder than myself until I met you. Your stamina in just Outrageous bro, and I knew at some point you had to burn out. I know you were just challenging yourself, but the human body can only do so much.
One of the lyrics that I heard in the video was about your kids and you being a good father. I know they are very dear to you and you probably at times have to choose "TIME" between them and what it is that your doing. Chris, I can just about guarantee that your kids will be just fine and understand more so once they are older and what Daddy is doing. You just have to understand, that you my brother are a PIONEER. You are the person that is setting the bar for this new age of technology of internet marketing. The next time you film a videoclip in the desert, you can use the Jordanian Black Desert, Harra't al-Sham, as a scenario. The most interesting part is located in the Governorate of Mafraq. There are very interesting ruins and geoglyphs there, dated 8,500 years old.
