it is such a spectacular piece, your urn needs a name! Like Bertha, or Henrietta or whatever suits your fancy. She has a personality of her own so she definitely can't live her life being called "the huge urn."
Oh I like this idea very much. I think we need to have a naming contest, don't you?
Absolutely.
LÖVÊ naming significant features... my vote is Hodor(Game of Thrones)
Name of new urn: “Herway” as a last name, thus it can be called “Urn Herway”.
I LOVE it. It’s simple, clean, and classic. It’s beautiful on its own, but the plants are really going to shine without any busyness to distract. I can’t wait to see it all planted up.
LOVE IT! You could almost wash Odin in that thing!
That is Beautiful! Sometimes it just makes sense to splurge on items, and this having become such an anticipated focal point definately makes it splurge worthy. Happy planting!
I just want to say thank you for sharing your experience with me and others. I retired at the beginning of Covid and spent a lot of time learning to bake better And became an accidental gardener last summer when my daughter gave me plants because suddenly she was moving to California for the summer.
This year I am focusing on flowers and some vegetables but I have grown at least five or six times more than I need over the last few months. I’ll be sharing with friends family and neighbors. My way of giving back this first year of retirement. 🌷🌷🌷🌷🌷
I love your urn and look forward to seeing how you plant it up every single year. Thanks for sharing this with us and for your easy going but knowledgeable approach to gardening!
Erin, that giant urn is gorgeous! I love the clean lines and can't wait to see how you plant it and what plants you use! It definitely is a statement piece in your garden. ~Margie
That is a beauty for certain. Just in time for more planting decisions! Thanks for sharing the process.
It’s a beauty! Love the smooth, clean lines. Detailed enough but not too ornate. You probably struggled on that decision and I think, it’s perfect. It will be exciting too see it planted up each year and I bet the lights on it in winter will be spectacular.
I overthink almost everything so there was a lot of that with this.
@@TheImpatientGardener 🙋♀️overthinker here as well. I also suffer from decision paralysis, bad combo. You did good. It is going to look great.
Thank you for sharing the process! It is stunningly beautiful!!!! I can't wait to see how you plant it up!
So beautiful! I love urns, fountains and very large pots!
Ooooooo love it. I Will be watching to see how it changes throughout the seasons. Great pick.
I think it looks magnificent! Totally love it! I can’t wait to see your creative planting.

Wow that looks amazing, can’t wait to see it planted. Adding some solar powered lighting would look great.
Beautiful! Love the scale and simplicity!
Your research and attention to detail sure paid off 😀. Can’t wait to see it in a few months
I, too, love the clean lines. I don't care much for ornate pieces. I feel it distracts your attention from the beauty of the plants. I think it is a great investment!
So beautiful....can’t wait to see it filled with flowers!!!
Erin, I have "urn envy." It's GORGEOUS!!!
Beautiful urn! You’ll never regret that purchase 👍

I love this European side of you! Elegant, unexpected and fun! 💃
Nice pick, can’t wait to see how you plant it up 👏👏👏 Thanks for sharing 👍❤️😊
A great video, great to see one installed properly. Permanent concrete always adds a lot to the landscape.
Enjoyed watching the video a failed to check the box so I went back and checked it but I wanted you to know that I did watch the video cannot wait to see you feel that beautiful fountain with beautiful flowers have a lovely day
A real statement piece. Perfect scale and simple lines. It's going to look fabulous.
Wow... it’s a perfect fit for the space and it’s definitely your “style”.
I just LOVE this urn, Erin. I think it’s perfect in design and proportion. Congratulations!
It is fabulous! Can't wait to see it planted up.
Can't wait to see it planted!
Perfect!!!!! I can’t wait to see it planted up!
Beautiful! I love that it doesn't have a lot of design on it so clean looking! Cant wait till you can plant in it!
Fantastic! It adds a texture, finish, and colour that you can't just obtain through plants alone. Though I don't feel like an urn person, the lines and shape you chose are right up my alley!! Hmm....
Lots of possibilities! I love the designs and shape of the urn. Excited for you.
Omg that is fantastic 👏😍, jealous lol
Can't wait til you plant that big boy up!
Love it, love it, love it. You will have so much fun with it!!!! Brava!!!
Can't wait to see it planted! 😍
That is gorgeous! I agree with the people who said not to glue it, I think if there is ever the need to take it apart, you don’t wanna be fighting the glue... looking at it, it looks like the pieces are pretty heavy so I doubt that is going anywhere! So exciting to see what you do with it!
Can’t wait to see you plant it up! It is a beauty!
It great! I’m so glad you got one and you will fill it and have a beautiful focus in your garden!😁
So awesome!!!
I cant wait to see what you going to do next!!🤗
Thanks for sharing

Very nice. I am looking forward to see filled with plants.

Beautiful! Can wait to see it this summer.
Great choice!!
I love the urn! Just my style. I am not into very ornate pots that are so popular right now, this urn is just beautiful, love everything about it.
As a writer, I always appreciate your attention to language, even when it’s correcting yourself 😅. In your research process, what materials did you find would be safe to leave out all year? I’m in Northeast Ohio (zone 6), and I have trouble understanding exactly what material to look for in a container for it to be considered winter proof.
I’ve always had good success with composite fiberstone, I’m in zone 6a.
@@misscleo378 thank you!!
It looks amazing. Can’t wait to see what you do with it🌸🌸🌸
Very beautiful, great idea can’t wait to see how it will look like when u r done with this fabulous project 💕👍👍
Awesome! I love it! Great choice and great installation.
Beautiful planter
Beautiful love the simplicity
Awesome! What a cool treat for yourself, way to go!
Love the classic look and size!
Hi Erin! I just watched the video where you planted it up, and saw this video pop up, so had to watch it. I like the statement your urn/urns have made in that spot. Thank you so much for sharing!
Woweee! I thought I would already have made a ferro cement urn - I'm shocked that I haven't yet. The urn is a beautiful scale for your garden and I agree that it architecturally invites a dramatic flare - frames and elevates. Yer gonna have so much funnnnn making it sing this summer.
Warmest regards
Jennie
Love it. Happy planting💝🇨🇦
It’s gorgeous! Classic, elegant and lots of space for plants. I can’t wait to see what you plant in this urn.
The urn is stunning. Looking forward to seeing what you plant! I don't think it it too large at all. It will be a wonderful focal point for your lovely garden. Thanks for sharing. Hi from Ontario, Canada. Love your channel.
Love the background and the process!!! Not too large at all. Go big or go home!
Gorgeous. Perfect choice
Looks fabulous great choice , I love it
Just beautiful
This is absolutely stunning! Well done, my friend! 🤗
Wow!!!Wow!!! I love it Erin, very elegant, it will look great with your selection of flowers. I lucked out I purchase the Morning Glory Urn it's weight was 735lb. But I purchased it at a nursery and it was delivered and setup. The nursery told me to put 3/4 full of peat moss or line the inside with bublewrap to kept from freezing and cracking. But
I also put a cover over it in the winter. I love it you made a perfect choice. You will ave to buy an acre of dirt to fill that lol. Happy gardening. I'm in zone 6.
Looks spectacular Erin!
Love the urn! 👍
Very beautiful!
Stunning!!!!
You could plant a tree in that thing! I love it! Can't wait to see what you do with it.
