These behind the scenes videos are really well done. If they did an animated clip then their ideas of underwater and anti gravity could easily be achieved.
Haha, I guess Jon didn't really realize that an underwater shot would completely ruin his marvelous 6-string Thumb :D Otherwise, perfect timing, I listened to the song repeatedly while walking home. Best song of the year so far - I had preordered the album immediately after the release of the song & video, and I'll see you guys in Austria at the end of October. Honestly, can't wait! :) Thank God for Karnivool, because of you guys we still have some hope for modern music!
What Drew said about the repetitiveness and boredom behind a video rings true. I was in the crowd for the video for Shutterspeed and that shit does take forever! Still, I was stoned and drunk and there was free BBQ so twas a good day!
Maybe they should combine some of those video ideas. A mix between animated clips and live-action involving an underwater anti-gravity chamber where they set dollars on fire. Video of the year, for sure.
