Thank God I think he didn't have a single ODI 100 Vs Ind as far as I know, didn't googled it. He also didn't torture Ind in Tests like he smashed AUS and ENG, am very happy for that. Ofcourse other Windies players esp in 2002 Caribbean tour made Ind pay everything horribly.
Dada was the man who taught indian team to play fearlessly and bring out their best when required the most ,to lead the side after scandal of match fixing cases on some team members ,is just amazing and brilliant

It was all on Tendulkar alone at first.. Than Ganguly was a brilliant Captain but India started winning more matches after the arrival of Virender Sehwag & Yuvraj Singh.. Earlier India was winning 3 out of 10 and later India became a power house and now we see India hardly loose any matches.. ICC knockouts are just too bad to digest

This match just shows how bad the Indian team is in 1999 but reached the world Cup finals four years later, shows how good a captain Ganguly is. Ganguly himself is very lazy though to get out in that fashion.

Despite having the black side screen. Umpires used to wear a light shade dress code than dark one that is being used nowadays. I wonder whether those days batsmen hadn't have any distraction while viewing the white ball from the bowler's hand due to this.

The fielding by Indians was pathetic.When the ball is in the air, players get enough time to judge, don't understand why they bump into each other, this is usual in Asian teams whereas we don't see it in Aus, NZ
Indian team comprised mostly of Uncles....besides dravid and Ganguly rest sucked....What a shame!!! Although I admired these bunch as I belong to this era...but these players are a pale shame in front of present cricketers
nowadays the training is at another level itself bro..... My brother plays at state level he's played with prithvi shaw kl rahul etc..... He told that earlier they hardly did fitness etc..... Physical demand was different.... Now everything is analysed.... Diets are monitored..... It's a totally different game now.....

Thats by far the worst Indian team i have seen combined, the only good odi players in this list are Dravid, Ganguly, and to some extent Robin Singh.
Ganguly's slow strike rate in the beginning sealed the deal for WI , few slogs are not enough afte eating lot of dot balls

He was an All-Rounder. He was making good rounds in the 1998 U19 times along with Bhajji, Sehwag, Sodhi.
