    Corrections:
    - The profitability calculation was using 5 ETH as the block reward which should be instead around 3 - 3.5. Therefore, profits of the Rig should be around $9-$10 a day. ! Sorry we missed it and thank you for all who brought it to our attention!

    That's absolutely incredible. I started mining in 2017 and have the original gpus still humming along. I have 7 zotac 1060 6gb and 1 asus 1660 6gb. My total wattage including the box fan for extra cooling is 839 watts. Total Mh is 181. The cards are not cranked up too high as the heat vs reward ratio just isn't worth to squeeze out an additional 10mh/s. I use a HP server supply and a 850w atx supply to power the mobo and 2 gpus/risers. Both are running on 240v instead of 120(higher voltage, lower current...Ohms law, and almost always more efficient). You also get the benefit of have exactly equal input voltage to both supplies regardless of spikes or dips. Which can snub out potential differences in rapid spikes or ripple that makes it through. I am in awe of 330mh@880W. Man, i thought i was efficient lmao. It's always been like that too.

  • @pascazal
    @pascazal Před 3 lety +1

    Hi, very very nice rig.
    Have built the same rig with now 5 Sapphire Nitro+ GPU's in it using a Asrock H110 Pro BTC+ motherboard. All 5 cards (6th is on its way) did flash bios according your explanation in the video's. Works great. All settings set. However, the power from the wall remains high. Measuring this, typically per GPU's about 200 to 220 W. As if they are not listening to the new settings even though they are hasing at 55.3 MH/s and Phoenix miner says 87 W to max 90W per GPU (in the software). In the adjusted flash settings 220W was set to 180 like you did in the video.
    Searching for a bad GPU I did test them individually. Testing the real wall power per GPU I putted each card solo in the pc. So with the GPU's individually in the motherboard the power from the wall was for: GPU1 273W, GPU2 268W, GPU3 300W and GPU4 296W. The fifth I dit not test yet. These numbers are including the PC that has an idle power of 75W and when busy 100W. (Connection via riser or PCie-16 slot did hardly not make a difference in wall power btw)
    My question. How to get down to say 130 to 150W per card? Mine are far above the 200W each. Everything is equal in numbers to your video. Resulting hashrates, software noted power consumption per GPU in the miner log, AMD Radeon software settings,... everything.
    If I would add up al the powers then the final 6 GPU rig Nitro+ is about (6x200 + 100) = 1300 W. Which is not a good value compared to the 880W. Any ideas or suggestions to look at? Btw, mining with Phoenix miner via Nicehash or Ethermine.org gave both the same results. Good hasrates but bad real power consumption.
    Thanks already for an answer. And thanks as well for the great video's and explanation.

      Hey!! That is quite interesting. What kind of fans do you run on your rig? Have you possibly tried a different power meter? Before I had a powermeter that kept giving me bogus numbers like 1400 watts off of a 1200 psu for 6 rx 580s! It could be just a flaw in the meter!
