J Channel for Windows and Doors

How to install J channel around windows, doors and other protrusions and make professional looking corners. This method will work for vinyl, steel or aluminum siding. I prefer aluminum trim with vinyl siding because it will look nicer and hold its shape better.

Everything is correct until he gets to the header trim. The way he installed it will allow water to travel behind the siding and into the wall.
