Whirlpool Washer Pump Replacement

I had an issue with my Whirlpool Washer Duet Model Number WFW96HEAC0 not draining and throwing an error code E01 F9 along with a SUDS error. The pump was making a dragging noise like it was going real slow. WFW96HEAC0. I ordered a new pump from amazon Washer Pump W10391443 it was here in less then a day. This video will walk you through how to remove the pump and replacing it along with talking about how to clean the pump drain catcher.

Check the very bottom front edge of the lower panel on the front of the washer….there might be 3, or 4 screws to remove, for access to the pump. (?)

This model you would have to pull the door seal too and a lot of other things if you went to the front.it's one big piece a very dumb design. The older ones are designed like this

Hey. Is the pump and the drain hose supposed to be fully empty after every cycle or is there always residual water ? Thanks

There might always be some residual water. Mine the pump failed so it was full of water

I have replaced the front seal and now the pump on the washer. I fucking hate the engineering of this POS washing machine
