    How about part time job in Finland, is there is no opportunity for a student doing part time job?

    • @studyinfinland
      @studyinfinland  Před 2 měsíci

      Hi, part-time working is allowed on a student residence permit; see www.studyinfinland.fi/life-finland/working-finland - do note that it's a good idea to start learning Finnish a bit already before your arrical, since knowing the local language increases you options for part-time jobs too. See for example www.infofinland.fi/en/finnish-and-swedish/finnish-online for info on online Finnish study options.

    • @studyinfinland
      @studyinfinland  Před rokem +1

      Hi, each in Finland university has its own scholarship programme for non-EU students - you usually apply for the scholarship from the university at the same time when you apply for admission. Please see www.studyinfinland.fi/admissions for info on how to proceed!

    Hi, good day. May I ask if there's an age limit in studying Medicine in inland? Thank you🌼

    • @studyinfinland
      @studyinfinland  Před 4 měsíci +1

      Hi there - there's no age limit for higher education in Finland, but you might need to know Finnish or Swedish quite well to apply to study Medicine (as full degrees in Medicine starting from undergraduate level would only be available here in Finnish or Swedish) - see www.studyinfo.fi for a database for info on what study programmes are offered in English!

      The applications for autumn 2022 study start have already closed, so the next main intake is for studies starting in autumn 2023... check with the uni of your choice when exactly you'd apply (this may depend a bit, do please read our advice at www.studyinfinland.fi/admissions/bachelors-and-masters-admissions)

    Hello, I'm Ömer, I'm 19 years old, I'm a graphic design student and I'm very talented. I have friends in Finland and Finland was my dream for 3 years. I recently resorted to the findyoruinnerfin event on a whim but was not selected which was very unlikely. I want to study there, I want to work, but my financial situation prevents this, do you have a solution for me or do you know places that can support me? This is my highest dream ever to have in my lifetime.

      Hi there, the Finnixh universities do offer scholarships for international (mainly non-EU) students admitted to their fee-charging programmes, see www.studyinfinland.fi/scholarships and www.studyinfinland.fi/admissions/fees-and-costs - but the available schlarships are mainly meant for covering the tuition fee; usually int'l students need to be able to cover their living costs independently... would there be any "study abroad" type of scholarships available from your home country? We do not unfortunately know of any "living cost" grants available from Finland for bachelor's or master's level students.

      @@studyinfinland I read your article and looked at the links you sent, it led me to a lot of very confused places and I want to say the following. I am a talented graphic design student about to graduate from a 2 year university. I am a foreign language graduate from high school (english). We young people don't have a future in Turkey anymore, we can't get married, we can't buy a house or a car by working even with minimum wage. Our economy is in a very bad situation and the same president was elected on May 28, now much worse days are waiting for us. Please help people like me. I have no money, I have no future, my dreams are disappearing.

    • @studyinfinland
      @studyinfinland  Před rokem

      @@omerk_k - Hi there, "Study in Finland" can not unfortunately offer any financial assistance (as mentioned, scholarships are available but you need to apply for them from the Finnish *university* usually at the same time when you apply for admission -> see advice at www.studyinfinland.fi/admissions/bachelors-and-masters-admissions) You do also need to realise we cannot admit you to university studies, that's not what "Study in Finland" does - but you can find helpful starter's advice on how you can proceed if you plan to study in Finland on our site www.studyinfinland.fi. If you wish to ask something after reading through our starter's info, you can also write email to us sif@oph.fi

      @@studyinfinland So, how do I know which university will accept me? Application links are very complicated.

    • @studyinfinland
      @studyinfinland  Před rokem

      @@omerk_k - as we explain on our site, you can search for the available programmes at www.studyinfo.fi - you should first search for the programmes you'd be interested in, THEN you can find out about the details with the university. Neither we nor the universities can say "in advance" what the result of your application would be, that's not how student selection works. Now, please carefully read the advice at www.studyinfinland.fi/admissions/bachelors-and-masters-admissions especially regarding application periods (i.e. when you can apply).

    Is the scholarship still available for free or has it changed?

    • @studyinfinland
      @studyinfinland  Před rokem +1

      This is how it goes: all English-taught bachelor's and master's in Finland have non-EU tuition fees. But the universities also offer schlarship options for gifted non-EU students admitted to these fee-charging programmes. As each uni has its own scholarship scheme, just need to check the details of the scholarship with the university you wish to apply to. Please see the advice at www.studyinfinland.fi

    • @studyinfinland
      @studyinfinland  Před 7 měsíci

      Hi, you'll find info on scholarship matters, admissions etc. on our site www.studyinfinland.fi - basically how it works is that you apply for a scholarship from the university at the same time when you apply for admission.
