Creating THIGH GARTERS! Blender 2.91 Timelapse/Modeling, Texturing, Rigging; Kupra, Reborn & Legacy

Hi Friends! Welcome back to another time-lapse video! I wanted to share my process creating these thigh garters for secondlife. I am a self taught novice!!! Many of my methods are most likely not industry standard. I really enjoy creating, please watch this video with an open mind *.~
Please note, I only featured doing the Kupra rig in this video because, I had to troubleshoot several times rigging for reborn and legacy but, I transferred weights and that worked! Nobody showed me how to rig, I just watched different tutorials on youtube and tried different things until it worked because some of the tutorials are not complete or clear or did not work, so, please be aware that my methods may not be the standard from how everyone else rigs because, I don't know how other people are rigging♥
I am using the soft thighs by Maze, so these were specifically designed for them! These thigh garters will be available at my secondlife store; Mewsery! I wanted to show you behind the scenes!! I tried a braiding method that I have not used before and it was quite interesting, I kept changed my mind too - that happens a lot when I create haha, these thigh garters are designed to match the pride choker I made for Pride at Home in secondlife! Heeey so how did you fix the issue with reborn? I am running into the same issue it seems :/

Hi!!! Unfortunately, I could not figure it out, I think the double sided mesh was the issue. I am not sure. I had to commission a rigger to help me with that size. I believe I got a rig commission from @Alexacroft here on youtube. If you are having trouble with Reborn, he is a good rigger that I can recommend, there are many others that I have discovered since then including my rigger I usually go to. I think rigging takes just as long as making clothing and most times in order to keep up with deadlines, I commission a rigger to help. It's an investment to save time since I do everything else. Sorry, I wish I could help♥

Can I ask what lighting you use in substance painter?

Hi!!
It is based off of the default substance painter lighting called Ateiler. I gave it to Crybunbun and she used it in this tutorial on her channel to make it grayscale:

And then she sent it back to me! If you use substance painter search ateiler and find that environment and make it grayscale using her tutorial ;).

If you make any environment gray by removing the color information from the environment so that you can still work on your texture colors as they are, you can achieve the same effect... So, if you find any other environment that makes your scene shinny, you can use that too but, make it gray using that tutorial and then you'll have a shinny latex look if that is what you are going after♥
