Watching NL make a single self-admitted bad move against Chase but regain composure and win was very cool! Watching NL calmly cast Dia's downfall was a whole level of Pog I never expected to get. Great games!
Couldn't he just go captures captures and then captures and still be in a good position though?
If you do that last capture with the queen you would lose the bishop with f5 and then f4 so you would have to take the white bishop before capturing with the queen. This considering he takes the bishop back and not the knight that is now attacked, which would make you lose an extra pawn. Of course, its unlikely either of them would make these moves.
He shoulda went bing, and then bam, and then afterwards boom, and he could have won quicker

I think it's a bit prohibitive because a lot of games are 2 player only, check out K8's channel though if you want a bit more Northern51
The man even said himself it's perfect NLSS content, but that took a bit of a hit with seeing how the Online works.

Can we take a moment to just say, with anything NL plays he just has that tactical mindset. Listening to him talk out his strategies is just super satisfying.
This is genuinely the most straight-up interested I've been in a youtube video in ages. It's actually amazing to see NL in an environment where (excuses of time notwithstanding) he's actually way better at a game than the vast majority his viewers, he explains all the moves and the reasoning behind them...

I like the potential for three tiers of chess gameplay on CZcams: the masters games that have always been here on the excellent chess channels, the twitch streamers who have been seriously practicing for a month or two, and the literal children on Nintendo Online guest starring on golden goblet.

For some reason I didn't expect NL to be good at chess, but in hindsight it totally tracks.
