@@IAm18PercentCarbon The higher end biplanes are hidden gems for ground RB. The f3f is great up to 4.0 for close in air defense. That .50 is great.

Agreed- its so humbling so hear experienced pilots say "oh theres a plane up!" and I am squinting at the screen to notice a tiny black dot as they say "Ya looks Italian/Swedish (or other ish)." I was barely able to determine it wasnt supper splatter from the meal I ate while playing yesterday and ya thats pasta sauce so Italian.

I'm so glad I got a discount and was able to but that plane, god its so fun. The 20mm stealth belts are so fun to strafe the open top SPAAGs that don't see the tracers coming until their crew gets splashed by shrapnel

I have to say I have never looked at an I-15 and thought - âit canât manoeuvre, it has no powerâ, they are deadly and so fun to fly, there is a reason they were used late into ww2 and why they scored kills against German aircraft, all fear the seagull.
Still on a separate note, damn you gaijiin, just another premium aircraft that will probably end up being used by high tiers to club low tiers.

It can be defeated, just boom and zoom, and don't turn, all these people get frustrated and start turning thinking they have a chance... You only turn fight a bi plane with another bi plane...
This plane has been in the game since before the open beta launched.
I doubt anyone was fooled the way he thought they would be fooled. If anything they thought he was a tank only, plane noob (more so than themselves anyway) that was still learning because of the planes lower BR. Plenty of plane noobs in Tank RB. Even ones that still try to turn fight bi planes with all metal monoplanes.

I have all chaikas and I think that the 7mm one is actually superior to this one because of the ammo count.
it's a shame they nerfed the belt for this plane, the 20mm used to have AP rounds.
Probably causing too much mayhem in ground rb so they removed the ap belt from it happens fairly often.
@@NuclearFallout1 Bastards can't handle a biplane so they have to nerf it. It's already at 2.7 br. If you can't deal with it at that point that's on you honestly
the 4x7mm just sets so many fires if you use the tracer belt. (and you can basically hold the trigger for the whole match - infinite ammo :) )

dude all i used to play was the f/4 trop
its sort of annoying playing with them. they have nothing going for them.
you might reach your top speed, never... acceleration and climb is shit, cant turn... slow velocity cannons, MGs that dont do anything
compared to the 'our-planes-were-definitely-this-good' Russian stuff, that turn on a dime and a single 20mm can detonate an enemy aircraft.. or the US planes that turn, accelerate and have magic .50s or actually useful 20mms ..
yeah the 109 pilots have a chip on their shoulders and it usually leads to tragedy for them haha

It's reasonable to bring in an ultra low BR aircraft into a higher BR game as long as it's not so high as to be facing radar guided SPAA.

actually you can dodge radar AA if you are high enough with the chaika. Simply keep turning slightly up and down, left and right. I've done it enough times to see the distracted gepards get taken out by an ally plane

In fact, I often unloaded all the ammo into afk climbers and they still didn't die.
The cannons do literally no damn damage.
So I often just load HE and daka AA.
If you load HE to fight AA.. what do you load to fight planes..?

I dont play WT, but this has to be one of the most stable aircraft in game, it looks like it turns super smooth and handles agressive turns without loosing speed

I just got this little seagull, it takes a bit of getting used to but pretty rewarding when people get frustrated and try to turn fight you. Managed to drop an XP-50 with it last night and a P38 flying close to the ground found out about the blast radius of the rockets!

Best AA is a chaika? Also. This is why you can not give a plane its BR by how it performs within the entire player pool. Top 10% players would not have lost to a Chaika so easily.

I do believe the chaika is my fav plane....i kinda like the plain machine guns and non retractable gear. Leaves more room for ammo and fuel
I fly the Heinkel alot, the 111 H-12 variant is my favorite and still fly it, got every skin unlocked for it and I only fly the Heinkel 111 series for bombing, 111-6 for ground target's, 111-12 for water target's, 111-16 for bases

Didn't the Russians try to outfit this with Two Gasoline Burning ramjets? It's called the I-153DM and I think it also had the two SHVAK cannons too. Could be wrong though (fact check me)

I barely play planes at all but this little shit is by far my favorite. Biplane with cannons! I've taken down jets with it.
Plus its ability (like all biplanes, admittedly) to take off and immediately maneuver at 60MPH while other planes have to hold a steady heading for a while is an amazing trick that's saved me from airfield strafing runs.
Edit: Phly, what conflicting keybind is causing the game to constantly yell at you about "no self-homing missiles?" I don't know why but it's driving me nuts and distracting me constantly from watching the actual gameplay!
