Great idea for storage! I just noticed the small tables for sale at WM (not my favorite store, lol, lived on VT for eh, a long time) to use for a bed in my minivan. Creating a way to pull the crates out and easy to see what is inside.. excellent.
Thanks! I didn't mention in the video but I also cut the sides of the crates so that I can access the contents from the sides. I used a hacksaw blade for that. I also shortened some of the crates with a table saw so that the stack fit perfectly under the table.

With the bed extension mod we can sleep front to back. Which is really nice because it gives more room and there is no need for anyone to crawl over someone.
