Marimayam is a sitcom aired on Mazhavil Manorama that depicts certain real public incidents that common people come across. This popular comedy show conveys a real picture of government offices in Kerala.
Marimayam uses humour and satire to tug at the red tape that entangles people in rules and regulation. The show highlights sleaze, incompetence and delay in government offices, public and private institutions. The series shows the common man and his woes as he runs from one office to the other in search of a solution to his problems. I know you cannot see us but I believe this episode should receive a Standing Ovation. Though ended on a sad note, the message has been delivered. The acting, or rather the characters living through this story is as real as it can get. This time, Drone camera has been spectacularly used. The last scene is just mind blowing. Marimayam deserves an International exposure. We see movies going to Oscars...Marimayam deserves more.
