I just bought that exact mini lady dior in the blush and she’s stunning! For me it would be dior I’m a dior girl but I also would love to add a Chanel one day🥰

I'm trying to decide between these two bags now -- and I think that you make a great point, that the Chanel is pretty easily duplicated, but the Dior is not. I have two small CFs and a WOC, so a mini rectangular might be a little redundant, but a Lady Dior is so unique. I think it would add more to my little collection.

I have the mini top handle in black and I just got the mini lady Dior in white lucky star which has the metal star studs in gold. So pretty. For me the Chanel can be worn both casually and dressy and more care free because it’s black. My mini lady seems more formal and special because it has the stars and not as care free since it’s white. I have yet to use it because I just got it last weekend but will try it out for date night soon.. I really love both and really happy to have them. Thanks for a great video!
I noticed the little dent where the chain rests on the Chanel mini top handle also. But I usually put two pieces of tissue paper under the chains now when I put the chains inside the bag when I store it back on the shelf. Maybe you can do the same.
I don't own the saddle bag but between the two I would definitely go with the Chanel mini. The Dior saddle is not a very functional bag because of its shape and it's also not as classic. And I personally had a bad experience with a canvas Dior bag being defective because the glue oxidized to a nasty brown color, so if you're interested in a canvas version this might be something to consider.
Given that the mini rectangular black is so hard to come by , I’m thinking of just getting the small black in caviar or this mini rectangular top handle . Idk I’m so torn .
I prefer Dior because Chanel it's really poor quality whether it's makeup bag jewelry or clothes because 1 week ago I went to Chanel to buy glasses a bag and a knit I take the bag out of the box and the chain fits the knit there was a hole seriously I do not recommend this brand I find that Dior has better quality it is better and more beautiful
I prefer the usual quilted lambskin ones more. If I wanted something more unique I would get one of their embroidered/embellished ones. I think those look better than the exotics.
The pink one in this video is not the best lambskin I own from Chanel but nothing a bit of leather conditioner can’t fix 😄 I don’t think you have to worry about it turning pruney in a few months.
Depends what you want to use the bag for. The mini is much daintier and looks better dressed up but the small is a good in between if you want one that can kind of satisfy both the functions of the medium and the mini and can transition from day to night for example. I personally prefer the mini just because of the above reason.
I’d take a my lady dior over a Chanel any day, I just feel like it’s more timeless than chanel even if it doesn’t hold its value as well as Chanel, you can dress it up or down, I love the design, still good quality and well made unlike some luxury brands these days, chanel bags in my opinion are mediocre basic boring look and design, overhyped overrated overpriced I wouldn’t dare pay the price their asking for their bags even if I became a millionaire tomorrow, not a chance not worth it

I just made 2 knots on the chain, one on each side. I found that add something to the chain and shorten it considerably.
Yep that’s a great easy fix 😊 The other option is for people who worry about damaging the chain if they knot it.
The only thing holding me back from getting the mini Dior is the fabric lining. With the amount they charged, fabric lining is not acceptable 😊
Yeah I don’t understand it either, especially since the medium one I have from the ultra matte line has a suede interior.

The mini with top handle is probably more similar to the rectangular mini in my opinion.
