- The Whopper commercial has recently been corrupting advertisements. You, me, your dog, your neighbors, and everyone else has seen this meme classic at some point on their TV. This video essay is about the ridiculous company that not only made this ad, but many other annoying ads as well. So take a deep dive with me into this roller coaster of a video, It'll be fun.

Last week I unironically made a report for my Business college course on this exact commercial and the meme culture aspects + how modern advertisements no longer create nostalgia.
If only I saw this _before_ writing the report.

Big yellow taxi is such a good song. I like it because it’s based off of what happened in Hawaii after the downfall of the kingdom, the pink hotel being the Royal Hawaiian, the swinging hotspot being Waikiki, and the trees being moved being the botanical gardens, it just reminds me of home is all. Also great work, and as always keep it up!

Honestly I don't see a lot of ads anymore. Don't watch TV, pay for CZcams Premium... Yeah, no ads anywhere. So it's interesting to see these things that are happening, as I'd never seen either commercial before.

I love your editing style!! You could totally improve a lot of the video essays I've seen 😅. There are a lot of great video essayists who could use a little help with their graphics and timing and you've got such a great instinct for it!
While I think this take is a little strange, as it's a little hypocritical to criticize an art collective who are advocating for themselves to make money under capitalism, many of whom would probably prefer to work in a similar space to you or Joni Mitchell, and likely experience a lot of the same guilt you do for having ads on this video, the editing was great!

Critical feedback time: This feels more like a stream of consciousness of your personal thought train than a video essay. You're definitely on to something, since this could have been a lot better if you had simply re-arranged the script in to a more cohesive thesis than jumping around from topic to topic without telling us why.
A really good channel in making here, good job nice content. Hope you make this type of quality content for the foreseeable future 😊❤

I do not live in the USA , and I do not watch TV. My ads are all from youtube and they are from Amazon or some local ad, or something related to my video like a car commercial or a software commercial. No Jingles.
so basically advertisers will eventually use those AI programs where it'll look like a regular commercial we're use to seeing but it will look slightly off. you cant point out exactly what but every time you see it aired you'll focus your attention on it. even if you arent the demographic the ad is directed at, the important thing is that you remembered it.
you lose, they win.
