Recently found myself single. I've never cooked more than barbeque grill stuff and pizza. You are seriously saving my life with these videos! Thank you!!
Watch youtube videos to learn basic knife and cooking skills. Number one rule though is make sure you are careful with raw meats (handle your meats LAST. Have everything else ready first. Handle the meat and then wash your hands and clean up everything the meat touched.) and make sure they fully cook.
You got this!!! Garlic and onion makes everything taste so much better. Amd you never taste the onions. My son does not like onions but everything I make usually has onions and garlic. Look up here on CZcams on how to make Salisbury steaks (very yummy and easy to make) chicken and dumplings, etc. Keep watching videos and you'll pick it up real easy. Good luck to you 👍
I just watched 2 of your videos and as a single person I thought it was easier to just pick up food. Well I now have a month of lunch and dinner ideas for freezer meals for about $150.00. I’m so excited to get started. Meal prep is key!
I like that everything's assembled. That way you don't go to make a recipe and find you've used an ingredient for something else! And you don't have to think too much when you come home from work, helping with homework, running errands..you know, LIFE. Faster than fast food.
Thank you for sharing... I am about to undergo surgery which will have me on bed rest for two weeks so this is going to be a life saver... The only thing I noticed when I saved the recipes and ingredients is that on your grocery list the ground beef and pork shoulder was missing. I have not gone through the other categories but since I use the paprika recipe manager it saves my list based on your recipes so looking forward to getting ahead before being under the weather. Thank you so much and wishing y'all well
We lost our Kroger store maybe 40 years ago and they were always my goto store. Priducts, prices and quality were always top-notch. I didn't know how much I missed them until I shopped there again in Bloomington , IL. WOW! Kristen I think Kendra ( Sp?) Is closest to your enthusiasm and presentation skills of the sisters I've seen so far. Loved seeing you both doing these delicious looking recipes.
First off, you girls are totally awesome and bless your little hearts for doing what you do and sharing with all of us, thank you!!!! I, too, love shopping at Kroger here in Michigan. I think this is one fantastic video you are doing, ten meals to freeze and for that prize, wonderful. The meals are easy when put in the freezer for a later date. I at one time was a working Mom with two kids and a husband, so I know I would have loved these meals and the Instant Pot in the 70's, but did not have than. I think all these working Mom's have to love your both for the help you bring to them. And whatever part Kroger had in this video, thanks to them too. These are trying times in the world and this just helps to make life a little easier. Thank you for great meals. Bunches of hugs and love to all of you and your families. Stay safe..... Claudia
Hi Claudia. We sure love that you stop by!! Thanks for leaving us a comment. We love these easy freezer meals. Just makes dinner time SO much easier. Have a terrific week!
Thank you so much for this, I'm expecting a little one in another 4 weeks, and I needed quick freezer meals for my family that they'll actually eat lol. You guys are the best!
Thanks for stopping by and CONGRATS on your new little one. How exciting. These meals are so easy to do and you'll have your freezer stocked!! Best of luck with your new baby.
Thank you for sharing this 10 different freezer meals. You're parents are lucky coz you're a good cook.equally pretty and gorgeous total package. Very informative content.
These are the videos I live for! I’m trying to tighten the food budget at home. I just started a cooking channel so this also gives me good inspiration! Love your videos 😋
For your budget might I suggest "Jordan Page Funcheaporfree envelope budget" here on CZcams! It's not like any other "envelope" budgeting system! The woman is a genius!!!!!!!!!!!!!
For cooking on a budget there is no better cheaper way than cooking from scratch. Make your own spaghetti sauce --really easy, takes only minutes more and saves a ton. Shred your own cheese instead of buying the preshredded. Fast and cheap. You will be surprised how much better things taste too. It is a win-win-win.
My husband discovered you all on CZcams. He is ready to make freezer meals asap. After looking at the recipes he and I will have to do some creative swapping. There is a lot of salt in the ingredients. It's not a knock, believe me. Between us we raised 8 children - meals are meals. I'm just rather fond of the husband and want to keep him around awhile longer.
I have made them all and they turned out great. Helped me keep to a budget and portion size. My husband even got in on making them as they were all preped and ready to go.
We don't have any Kroger stores in my state, however a distribution center just opened a couple months ago so we have access to Kroger delivery here now. When I tell you, it has been a lifesaver. Even after paying the delivery fee, I still save over like half of what I was spending before on groceries. Not to mention that I don't have to go to the store now. I was so happy when we got the delivery option here. Alsooo, I love you guys' videos so much. Have a great day :)
We are now a family of 2 from a family of 5. Like your recipes because the ingredients you have, can be cut into half for my husband and I now with out compromising the taste. I have loved your Italian Chicken for a long time, I serve it with rice, pasta. Stay Safe till the next.
This is one video I don't care if it was sponsored. I loved Kroger when we had one, but they moved and now there isn't one anywhere near me. This made me miss them a great deal! Their stuff really is the best and their prices are just about the best too.
I use those rolls to make pepperoni and cheese rolls. Then I brush them with butter that has parietal cheese, garlic and any pizza seasonings. The kids love then with pizza sauce to dip them in. I have also stuffed them with Ham, turkey and roast beef with cheese. Those rolls are so good for a lot of different meals.
Thank you for all the freezer meal ideas!. I am trying to workout while dinner is cooking and this is the perfect way to do so. Having a 3 year old doesn't give me much "me" time so this is soo helpful. My husband can take our son outside to play. I can dump dinner in the instant pot and get my workout on. Thank you so much ladies!!!!!

I am so addicted to watching your freezer meal videos and I am definitely going to be trying A LOT of these. One question I have is what would be you recommend to replace black beans? I don't like them. Thanks for all you do, to make life easier.
One very easy way to shred meat is to... use your hand mixer (I do this on low speed). Works soooo well, and is much quicker than any other method I've tried. Just make sure your meat is tender, - if it's too well done then this method probably won't work. I've only done chicken before, but bet it will work with any meat - long as you don't over cook it!!
@@natalieeubank4533 Food processor could work - but then again it might mess things up. Personally I'd stick with either a hand mixer, or even a full blown Kitchen Aid mixer well before attempts with a food processor. You have more control with a mixer versus a food processor. But hey - if taking that chance works for you, then by all means continue!!
Here "Might be" a tip for some. We are just a Family of 3 at the Moment. Just me and My 2 Boys (ages 13 and 11). So many of these meals i just split them. We are working on the list. I went through our Freezers (Regular and Large stand up) and made a list of what we had and did a little clean out. I went over what we needed and what we already had and ordered the rest. So the serving size on the meat balls is 6 but we normally eat about 5 is a serving for us. So we are doing the Italian Meatballs {Spilt 18 meatballs, in 2 bags} and then we are doing your "Swedish Meatballs (with 18 meat balls in each) and then the remainder of Meat balls which ended up to be 24 in One bag. Long story there was a issue in the house hahahahaha" When we get to that one we will just use half cause little guy doesn't like the Hawain Meatballs {he will have something diff that night. and then we will take the left overs and have them the next day or just put them away in the freezer for another day. **** Oh Also i dont' know about anyone else but for some reason our Sharpie Perm Maker doesn't stay on hte bag . I wish I would have seen this before I went grocery shopping today. Our oven just kicked the bin, but now I have some good ideas for next week. Always loved your blog, so super excited to try some of these out!
Love this video! I really enjoy taking a set of freezer meals to new mothers, and now you've given me some new recipes to add to my list. Thanks so much!
Krogers is my favorite store too! Love to order my groceries n go pick them up! Was awesome after I had hip replacement! I love to cook up ground beef n freeze for easy recipes like your chili! Wish I did but I’m not real fond of ground turkey or chicken! 😁
These are great ideas. Just one thought...if you cook any of these with raw meat in the slow cooker, please thaw in fridge overnight beforehand. The Instant Pot is fine for frozen because it's so fast but for slow cooker, frozen, raw meat will spend too much time in the 'danger zone' (40-140 degrees) and risk of yucky bacteria is high.
I Believe in always self -venting. Quick release allows meat juices to steam out either on your cabinet or just in your venting system in your pressure cooker. Besides that , allowing it to self vent you allow the food to sit and the flavors to meld together better.
Can you please, on some of these recipes, tell us how to cook them if not freezing, but cooking. thanks for all you do. i love Kroger too ( here in Texas!)
A. Mix the ingredients in an appropriately-sized bowl. 2. Dump the contents of the bowl into your cooker (I.P. or slow-cooker... your choice). III. Set the temperature and timer controls of your cooker (whatever applies). d. Walk away and come back when the time is up. Okay, I am just kidding, but not really. If you watch and listen carefully, Kristen gives time and temp recommendations (especially *time* for the I.P.) so you can write that on the freezer bag ( _before_ you fill it). Just use those recommendations for a start. With some experience you will learn to adjust as necessary. Happy cooking!
Thanks for the recipes, ladies! Is there any chance you could link a pair of your “bear claws” or the freezer bag stand in the description box of future videos, assuming they’re available on Amazon or somewhere online? Thank you in advance!
Thanks for the great recipes- question, do you take them right out of freezer and put in crock pot or do you thaw in frig first. I am wondering for the cooking times you say to use for slow cooker. Thanks!
You don't need to thaw before cooking in slow cooker or IP. However, if you are cooking frozen chicken in your IP, you will want to adjust your time for 25mins. instead of 20mins. I always just remember if I'm cooking frozen meat, it needs to cook longer than thawed meat. Slow cooker you can pretty much keep the times the same for frozen or thawed.
Love these meal ideas! I noticed 2 recipes call for can of diced tomatoes. The shopping list calls to buy 1 can. I changed it on my list to two. Hope I figured this right. If I not, i'll just have an extra can! ☺️
When you put the recipes in the IP from the freezer, do you need to add any liquid to keep from damaging the pot or will it thaw quick enough to use the liquid in the recipe?
More videos like this, please!!! I'm headed back to work soon and have an hour commute, plus new baby daycare drop-off in the mornings... aka I'll be super tired at night! Loving all of these! PS- use wax paper pressed down on pasta casserole, then cover in foil.... lasts much longer!
You probably have one they have different names in different regions like in Cali it's called Food For Less and Kroger is a store brand check the website
@@SixSistersStuff Thanks for the reply I was trying to help the first person who respond with a comment and saying that Kroger exist as a supermarket and as a shelf brand all over the country I know Kroger as a shelf brand inside of Food For Less in SoCal🥰 love your channel and again thanks for the response
I live in New Zealand and where I am situatied we don't have Italian seasoning but would it be the same as Italian Herbs? We don't even have Ranch seasoning what would you recommend to substitute the italian seasoning for the creamy cheese chicken please?? Thank you
Italian herbs will most likely be about the same as itallian seasoning. Sorry, I don't have suggestions for the ranch unless you look up a diy version of it.
Aside from the last recipe that I know you cook in the oven, are there any of the others that could be done in the oven or I know you mentioned stove top for a couple? I make freezer meals for my 92 year old grandpa and he can heat stuff up in the oven, but aside from that can’t do much. Thanks so much for all your videos. I love them!
that's what you just watched..... unless you mean, showing them putting it in and showing us what it looks like finished? otherwise it's just putting the ingredients in and sealing (not venting) set the timer and wait
I love your recipes & variety. Could you please let me know where I can find your ziplock bag holder with clips. This looks like it's a big help for the freezer meals. Thank you so much!

Slow cooker you can pretty much keep the times the same for frozen or thawed.

aaw you guys are the BEST! I recommend your channel to so many people on the instant pot FB page i am on.
Yea!! Thanks Patricia. We are so glad you like our videos and thanks so much for sharing them! Have a terrific week.
I love Six Sisters Stuff and Kroger!
In our area (and Kristin’s new home) are Fred Myer and Smith’s are owned by Kroger.
Thanks so much for stopping by and leaving us a comment. Kroger brands are amazing.
@@capemaxi We love Smith's.
Love these meal ideas! I noticed 2 recipes call for can of diced tomatoes. The shopping list calls to buy 1 can. I changed it on my list to two. Hope I figured this right. If I not, i'll just have an extra can! ☺️
I was looking through the comments to see if someone has already said this, I was confused and thought I missed something lol. Yeppers 2 😁
When you put the recipes in the IP from the freezer, do you need to add any liquid to keep from damaging the pot or will it thaw quick enough to use the liquid in the recipe?
Love your video recipes. Keep them coming.
More to come!
So sorry to hear about your daughter. Prayers
Thanks Deb. We are taking it a day at a time.
Thank you for stopping by!! We love that you left us a comment and helpful tip!
I wonder how the Kaluha pork would taste with actual Kaluha...
EXACTLY!
I think it would be better than the liquid smoke and healthier. Liquid smoke is actually a carcinogen.
Love those shredders! 👍
Wish I had a Kroger near me 😢 I try out alot of your meals, and they've all been delicious! Thank you ❤
You probably have one they have different names in different regions like in Cali it's called Food For Less and Kroger is a store brand check the website

Amazing ideas for Sunday personally 👍🏻👋🏻🙏😷🙋🏻♀️
I would love a good grocery store, well I have Aldis (it's good) and walmart which I can't stand. But that's it!!
Aldi is the BEST!!
Just had breakfast and now I'm hungry again!
Hi Denice. Thanks for leaving us a comment. We know you will love these easy freezer meals.
Ya'll finally got the Kroger sponsor! LOL! Yeeeees!
This stuff all looks good. I'm going to do the seasoning manually though. I forgot that season packets exist LOL.
You can totally do that!
You could adapt a lot of these recipes for the oven. And for the slow cooker too.
Hey! I have one of those bag holder gadgets but forget to use it.
Thanks for stopping by Daphne. They are wonderful for freezer meals.
Wow look at these 2 beauties
Anyone else notice, during the pork roast recipe that the microwave was trying to get their attention?
😉🤭
are the recipes printable without all the pics and ads like your other freezer meal recipes and shopping lists? I can't find the link
Click on the link where it says: Find the recipes and Printable Shopping List HERE
When you add 1/2 cup of water in bag for instant pot but you then freeze the bag. Does the water still help bring the pot up to pressure?
Sure. The heat in the pot melts it and there you are!
Exactly. You need that water to bring it to pressure when it all thaws.
Can you make a video with all this recipes done in the instant pot step by step? You guys are awesome!
that's what you just watched..... unless you mean, showing them putting it in and showing us what it looks like finished? otherwise it's just putting the ingredients in and sealing (not venting) set the timer and wait
The recipes are listed in the description. Just put in the instant pot instead of the freezer bag.
I miss having a Kroger near me! They always have such good deals!
Wow $119, that’s like 11 bucks a meal!! That’s awesome
I love your recipes & variety. Could you please let me know where I can find your ziplock bag holder with clips. This looks like it's a big help for the freezer meals. Thank you so much!
Love the Recipes
My mom loved Kroger & I still do too!!!
We grew up going to Smith's, our local Kroger store.
I love Kroger’s, too!!! I miss Kroger’s, they Closed in my area in NC.
Yeah, they closed in our area too in Warrenton Missouri. But Schnucks was to blame for that closure. A brand new store right down the street. Ugh.
In the uk our pick up is called click and collect xx
I love your channel and all of these look so great too bad Kroger isn't everywhere
