There is no way to make a game 100% hack free, the only thing you can do is to make it as hard as possible to discourage hack developers to create a working hack, and Vanguard is indeed a barrier very hard to overcome.
The high clearance doesn't matter so much. It's just like battleye, it's harder to fuck with for less tech savvy individuals (so your average 10 yr old won't have hacks), but all you need to do is kernel spoofing and walla, inject your hax.
@@acedia4454 yes but to an extent. I'd like to refer you to @someordinarygamers on yt who did a video explaining why this is a problem, and how it can be exploited. Root kits are dangerous either way, and to see hackers in the beta are scary to say the least. I do see your point tho

Shadowsketch Riot has said that theyre trying to minimize cheaters
No matter what, their will always be a cheat out their that can probs bypass the anti cheat, just like any other game. Even if their is cheaters, their might not be a lot of them due to the level 0 access of the anti cheat. It's just more of programmers who wanna make money so they make cheats that can bypass the anti cheat with their programming skills. If the person can program a cheat for a game, chances are that they can prob make it bypass the anti cheat. Recap: dont install the game if you are gonna complain about the anti cheat.

This is a 5Head move by hayden and other cheaters. By cheating in the Closed Beta, it's giving Riot and the Anti-Cheat early data for the machine learning to capture cheaters quicker once the game fully releases. So as much as I despise cheaters, better now earlier than later. Hopefully this means ban's will be quicker and harsher once the game fully releases.
That's.. not entirely how it works.
By getting hacks past Vanguard in beta, they get a better understanding of how Vanguard works and how to exploit it more effectively.
I think Riot messed up by keeping the anticheat on low at the start since they were a bit unsure how it'd work, and now they're going to play catch-up endlessly.

A cheater in a closed beta game? Not so much good news for me. Good thing the cheater was playing with streamers, so of course all of them would bash the cheater, as would any human with good sense would. But to think that this is a CLOSED BETA GAME, and there's already a cheater playing in it.. It just goes to show how easy it is to hack the game... Don't get me wrong, I LOVE THE GAME, I'm so excited to play it. But I'm just afraid cheaters are gonna ruin the game. :(
Hopefully the devs will counter some sort of defense for this.

yo shroud! i have a good MW2 SMG loadout for you, MP7, monolithic supressor, FSS strike barrel, no stock, stippled grip tape, sleight of hand, perks: double time, ghost, and tune up, if you cant get those attachments go to gamebattles on multiplayer, edit your loadout and plop all those attachments and perks on the gun and then save it as a custom mod. after that exit gamebattles and go to multiplayer, edit ur loadout hover over the MP7 then that custom mod should show up as a blueprint. (this goes for all the other MW2 players)
So our system security is exposed to unnecessary risk for an anti-cheat that does very little to stop cheaters. Great!

They made the anticheat as intrusive as a malware and people are still able to cheat... All the people shitting on VAC can take this as an example as to why Valve don't want to invade your privacy for better AC. It's just not worth it.
