@@seanyeeets4675 Activision Blizzard are definitely worse than EA, if you take FIFA out of the equation. Ubisoft are probably worse than EA still, but it's close there.
Basically, we went from:
- 2 Operators per season
- 4 Universal Weapon skins that cost 25k Renown each (Note that 90% of the universal weapon skins from the old seasons looked WAY better than the ones we have now)
- A Season Pass for €40 for the entire year, which included uniforms, headgear, credits, and a universal exclusive weapon skin (like Obsidian, Damascus Steel, Volcano, etc.)
- Birthday events for operators featuring free charms or weapon skins
- Random weekly challenges that rewarded charms or skins
- Good and unique event skins
(I could continue this list forever)
To:
- 1 operator per season (except this one :))))
- 1 universal, unattractive weapon skin with random patterns and colors, selling for 80k Renown
- A membership for €80 a year, offering less content than the previous Year Pass and Season Pass, but at a higher price
- No more birthday events (The game's birthday is December 1, 2015, and it's the only game I know that doesn't celebrate its birthday with any event)
- No more operator birthday events
- More and More cheaters
- No more good and unique event skins
Less and less content.
I'm also 21yo, I play this game since I'm 13 and seing ubisoft killing this game makes me really sad.
Technically there was 2 new operators this season but there nothing new there just a reskinned recruit

Same here, I got champ the past 5 seasons, playing over 200 games every season tough this season only 3 games played.
I just don't want to deal with the cheaters anymore and the other BS. The membership really killed my whole interested in the game the moment it came out.

Doktor's Curse last time already kinda sucked because of the Aruni campers and Melusi bug.
They’re gonna rename it Doktor’s Poop and say it’s a brand new game mode where the defenders have to try and finish pooping before the attackers rush in. If the attackers rush you before you finish pooping, they have to wait for you to finish and then watch you eat your own poo. Then the round ends and the defenders lose if you don’t poo in time.

Yeah i already hate the event and the hit detection BS is so noticeable in it, I kid you not I mag dumped someone with a DMR, They didnt even get damaged or notice me, So i had to dash into them and melee, and for that they called me toxic for not just shooting them..

@@j0hnicide Yes, he's so bad for the game being absolute shit. I've seen easily HUNDREDS of clips from a R6 clip channel named after an R6 operator where the player will CLEARLY shoot an enemy (can be literally anywhere), blood shoots out from their body, they get mag dumped, turn around, kill the player, then said player is greeted with their player card saying THEY WERE STILL FULL HEALTH! This even happens with melee (typically shields)!
There are an insurmountable number of times where I'm right in someone's face, melee them, the sound of my shield whacking them plays, yet they aren't downed, then they turn around and shoot me in the face!
There are even moments where bullets will LITERALLY phase through the shield because they have bullets programmed as an actual object, rather than programming a hit scan/detection system (which would easily solve this common issue with shields).
It's really hard for the average player to 'get good' when the games programming is so bad that you can't even damage someone when you're clearly landing your shots half the time!
Games on its death bed. The engine can’t keep up, and they know the game can’t be supported for much longer, so they’re doing everything and anything to get as much money as possible from a ship that’s about to sink.
They are probably doing a new engine port, similar to OW2/CS2.
They said in a recent interview that they plan to support the game for a pretty long time and that Year 10 will be HUGE for R6 so i guess Year 10 we might get a new Engine. Might.
@@GodlyPlayer9163if year 10 isn’t a revert to old siege in terms of content (2 ops per season minimum and 1 maps per 2 seasons) and gameplay (fast ads, lower recoil, reverted nerfs, operator perks, etc..) then it’ll be the last year of siege being popular.
@mikeyplayz8438 so I'm going to agree with you on the hole content issue and even gameplay and let's not get into op nerfs all because theyre over played however if you don't mind me asking what guns have bad recoil I'm genuinely interested as I've never really had a issue with recoil.
@@mikeyplayzwrld... you're asking ubisoft to make the tdm meta much more prevalent. that would kill the game further, nobody likes the tdm meta, you can't cook up fun strategies with your friends anymore because people just bum rush you all the time. The other things you suggested are great, but lowering ads speeds and recoil will just exacerbate the problem. Not to mention, while old siege was fun, it was also a completely unbalanced mess. That's something you can get away with in the early years of a game's development, but not for a game that's 10 years old, or at least will be.

For the memento they should just have count the older skins as if you own a recolor and the pack have the option to not drop the recolor. Also you can get a purple kapkan as a twitch drop.
I wish a multi-billion dollar person or corporation would acquire ubisoft/R6 and bring it back to life. they have the best overall game on the FPS market in their hands and they don’t even care.
The have a new fps cash cow. Xdefiant is gonna be stealing all of their attention. I'm curious to compare the quality of the skins in both games after a year or two.
Ready or Not is EASILY leagues better. It was made by an indie company and they made over $60 million in early access sales alone! They continue to make the game even better AND MORE REALISTIC! Then there's Bodycam, which is already garnering a TON of attention!
There are easily better options on steam for PC players that offer a significantly better experience than this shit show! Just wish I could say the same about consoles! Thankfully Delta Force Hawk Ops is both a competitor to battlefield, CoD, AND R6 and will be coming to ALL platforms for free!
We need to start a petition for Ubisoft to get more people on a team that way the game can improve and not go down hill then if they did that they would make more money

Completely agree I bought this game on launch day with my brother and we bonded over this game for years and years until like year 6 he kinda stopped playing but I still play nearly 10 years later and it’s changed so much and I hope they are just holding out content for a big year for 10 party but the over monetizing is ruining my love

The passion in this video & the message speaks volumes... I've made a lot of memories & friends in this game. I was extremely upset with the event initially but everything you've analyzed makes sense. I'm kinda sad that Ubisoft team is turning to the aggressive micro transaction trend many other dominating games in the industry suffer from. R6 is going to end up like Overwatch did under the rule of Bobby Kotik if something doesn't change soon.
P.S. No one should ever feel embarrassed when it comes to being passionate about something they love! Think of all the 42 y/o beer bellied dad's screaming at the top of their lungs when their favorite football team fumbles a win.
I personally didn’t like the original color scheme of Ying and Lion’s Mute Protocol skins but I LOVE the new ones! Especially since the Lion set goes so well with Black Ice

I truly wonder and I personally think this is possibly a tactic or strategy for the marketplace. almost everything besides a few ash skins, glacier and some rare esports stuff everything else even black ice sells for close to nothing only going for 120 r6 credits the minimum most of the time. notice how the red oryx didnt come back at all they did not try to over fill the packs with both versions. I wonder if this recolor thing is more of a tactic to make the market place more competitive so skins have actual value and become more sought after and things actually rise in price to make the market place actually have flux in competition instead of everything besides a few old things selling for close to nothing. I do think there was other ways to do it to but I do think that could be part of the mindset of why we are getting a recolor.

I've been trying to get back into siege for the past like, 2 years, and I've just gone match after match against champions and getting negative KDs. I don't know what to do anymore and I think I'm just gonna uninstall the game and move on at this point.

I had renown saved up and I’ve not touched the game since seeing the skins
ubisoft has BEEN lazy man. went from 2 ops to 1 per season, stopped making new maps, lazy buffs/nerfs to characters and the new season just finally killed it for me. a friend of mine said they’re releasing 2 new ops, not removing one of the fun parts of siege (5 stack recruit) and replacing it with 2 mid reskins that are okay at best. now the recolors on top of everything is honestly the straw that breaks the camels back because this is outrageous, i used to love this game but it’s just boring now.

as a fan of both COD and R6 ive noticed this, both franchises have become corporate monetization slop and have predatory MATCHMAKING algorithms to keep you on the game for as long as possible... its so bad and it feels like every time we get an update on either game we go 1 STEP FORWARD, 2 STEPS BACK

I had saved 200k renown and I save alpha packs now so I opened like 250 to get this set which in my opinion is better than spending 90$ and all new skins.
Its a slap in the face to collectors that bought previous collection's too.
My friends and I have been playing siege since day one release. This new season might be the end
I loved mute protocol the first time it came, drop the game for a while like didn't play at all during 2022 and 2023, when I heard mews first to call was coming back I was really happy with this is not what I remember and I really miss the old version
However this new version is actually really really fun as well and I definitely like it a lot but it's glitchy as hell... Like the last one 😂

Remeber when this game used to look and feel like a realistic 5v5 tactical shooter? Now its a neon bright colored arcade shooter with some of the most outlandish gadgets and map design.
what’s embarrassing to me is when i force myself to play a game just because of nostalgia and me wanting the game to be as fun as it once was to me. sadly multiplayer games have fallen off for me, but i can still find fun with single/co-op experiences. it just sucks that a good game is hard to come by in the era we live in
