How To Make Spinach Stew is what I consider one of the best Haitian food recipes. If you want your kids to eat their veggies, this spinach recipe kids will enjoy.
Ingredients
3 12oz bags or 36oz of chopped spinach
2 pounds pork neck bones cleaned
5 tablespoons Haitian Epis ( green seasoning link) • How To Make Green Seas...
2 tablespoons chicken bouillon flavor
2 tablespoon complete seasoning
1/3 cup mojo marinade or sour orange or 1/4 cup lemon/lime juice
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon Red Pepper Flakes
3 teaspoons onion powder
2 to 3 teaspoons garlic powder
2 teaspoons italian seasoning
12 cloves
1 large onion sliced
Sweet peppers sliced
water for pork
2 to 3 large tablespoons tomato paste
1 to 2 teaspoons sugar to balance any acidity
1/4 oil for braising pork
1 tablespoon butter

I'm so loving this Haitian stew...just feels like true soul food right there, and the presentation at the end looks superb and this stew goes perfectly with rice...I'm so in, rice is close to my heart! By the way my mom has the exact same pot that you made the stew in and she swears by it!
