True, it is well out of the splash zone though so it is not a problem. I intentionally put it in that location. There is a window on the opposite side of the bathroom which we open when running the fan/using the shower. The fan location on the far wall allows it to pull dry air from outside and effectively sweep the entire bathroom of humid air. It does a good job of keeping the mirrors clear.
Very helpful video. Although, i am afraid of drilling a hole in my roof and actually doing electrical.
You probably know by now, but you are supposed to access the fan wiring from the inside or underneath side of the fan housing.
You didnt have to turn the breaker off.. turning the switch off iz all you needed
Most fans I see are in the middle of the bath not on top the bathtub space :-)
