I typed in "supreme commander" and this was the first video. Surprised to see such an epic game uploaded 7 hours ago and with 1.1k views already. I guess this game is alive. It always was my favorite rts.

Empty_Spot deserves some props here too.
Completely carried his team. Killed 3 out of 4 of enemy team. Built strategic artillery and destroyed enemy paragon.
Literally yudi's one and only foil.
Oh God at 26 minutes he misses the naval battle going on entirely but somehow sees the telesnipe way before hand
That upset me so much, naval battles are amazing and he seems to always miss big battles
Yudi putting the yudi back in "yudidn't expect that". That was a better comeback than Space Jam, The Mighty Ducks, The Karate Kid, and World War 2 COMBINED.
I knew a one and a half hour Setons would be special but that was RIDICULOUS. Onya Gyle.
The best RTS ever conceived. I love this game.

What an amazing game, though it frustrated the hell out of the backseat gamer in me. I ended up yelling out "Nuke the navy! Nuke the fucking navy!" at one point and got absolutely bewildered when Empty Spot didn't immediately take out the paragon the same way he took out the first two commanders. Poor Foley.
Yeah, I was thinking that too. Removing the naval threat would have given them control of a hell of a lot of reclaim to build some kind of game ender before the paragon got finished. Or at least stop the cancer t1 spam from the beach that was occupying them for so long.
Distratis Too many Oblivions in the base. If they didn't kill him first, the paragon's explosion would've.
Yudi absolute MVP. Actually built a paragon, played 1 vs 4. 10/10
He managed to build that because of unit sharing upon death.
This mode is retarded, a single player can sit on so much ressources just because his team is losing.
South team played a LOT better. You just dont know what you are talking about.

@@shml5231 not so much- though it will have sped things up some. most of his income was from stuff he made. his teammates dying only gave him a couple of hundred mass income. anyway- seton's without fullshare is pure cancer every time. at least this way one snipe isn't gg.

Gyle, you should cast a game from absolute noobs. I don't mean average joes, I mean complete amateurs if you can find one. It would be great!
I second that, i really enjoy the 'bronze league heroes' installment on sc2, it's a nice change of pace from the pro games
Comparing with SC2 noob games in SupCom such games are much less intresting to watch because there is lack of action most of the time, amateurs dont feel the game enough to effectively use their superiority/enemies weakness - which is exactly what we love in pro gamers matches where thing escalating quickly))
I reckon the problem with that is just to find a game that's actually interesting to watch. Too many "absolute noob" games are just boring tech marches, turtling up, or really bad use of resources. Finding a noob game that goes for more than half an hour and is reasonably balanced is hard.
And let's not get started on the ugly, badly designed, artificial maps that most of them seem to use. Astro Crater Battles? Seriously? Ugh.
I mean, I'd love to play in such a game, and have even played Setons for more than half an hour with 7 other players, but I dunno if I'd watch that. I don't think I played that well, and I was the last on my team to die.
I've only been playing for a week.. and have been playing rts for 15 years. How did I not know of this game?
No idea how you missed it, I remember when Sup Com was released it was a pretty big deal - first RTs to let you use multiple monitors, came out just as multicore processors became big news, plus everyone loved Total Annihilation so it was pretty hyped

You should bookmark czcams.com/users/feedsubscriptions that way you will always see recent uploads from whoever you're subscribed to. If you bookmark it, it should be the first result for autocomplete.

At 1:07:00, about the mexes reclaimed before the inbound nuke, I think it's a coincidence. Yudi's chat seems to give that away. Self-destructing mexes when the Paragon is nearly finished is a good thing to do. The mass reclaimed from them gives you more mass for a short bit. That keeping them alive gives more mass over the long term is of course no problem if you then have the para up.

Says a lot about full share. That all that great work by Empty_Spot didn't hurt the opposing team as much as it should and may even have helped them. Maybe full share should take only a random proportion of structures, or halve their hp or something.

Think of it as logical lore-wise. No military would let their army have zero redundancy if the entire army was dependent on Supreme Commanders to function. Surely, they'd give each unit the ability to slave to the next nearest commander.

Steel Panther's horrible micro cost his squad serious early advantage. Utagbar made a serious error coming in at 50% health and just was NOT punished. He SHOULD have been the first casualty right then and there since SP had like 30 T1 Units just sitting there, but instead of surround, he pulled them back and just let them get picked off one by one. If you're going to lose 50% of your units anyway they might as well do some damage. Yudi is a MACHINE though!! Good Grief!! He held the entire southern hemisphere of the map on his own! INFUCKINCREDIBLE!!!!!
Nice game but it does feel like the latter part of the game team 2 just went afk or something, Yudi has land factories on the beach spamming out arties while team 2 has experimentals, bombers etc running around killing them for ages instead of killing the factories. North pond gets taken and the only gain is to use the ships to bomb the nearest base and then twiddle thumbs while waiting for nukes... Paragon goes up and they scout it, dont telesnipe it even though they should have seen it wasnt that well defended, sure it might be a suicide but they would kill the paragon and with not much else for metal income and just a few experimentals already built it would have been a sure victory for team 2, the com and paragon explosion would have been enough to do huge damage to the base as well.
This is all backseat gaming at its finest but its all things they saw and reacted on but the reactions to pretty much everything past half time seemed to be just *shrug* and *yawn*. Kinda made it boring to watch as you had 1 player trying to win against a team that almost looked like they left long ago, when Yudi asked in chat "are you guys still here?" I seriously thought he was asking the other team because I was questioning that myself at that point.

1:18:45 Steel panther with the "EZ". I'm like... you've done nothing but sit in your base for the last 20 minutes. Then with the ending it's like... don't count your chickens before they've nuked you.
and that comeback proovs that skill isn't just required to play this RTS but a cool head as well great vid keep it up and please try to do setons a bit more regularly

Very impressive.
The amount of mistakes on team#2 is a bit horrific though. The unit spam vs gc's giving them near infinite hp ( yay free upgrades! ) and griz wasted SO much mass on useless units. None of team2 decided to build mass SCU's either. Mistake after mistake after mistake by players that are not used to playing vs someone trying after it looks lost.
Yeah, it did not feel like they had an end game plan apart from nukes.

And the game ended, and I _still_ don't know where Yudi had his comm during any of that 1v4. Because it was never checked, not even once from the time he started pumping out support comms and we stopped being able to tell by looking at the map.

Cool match. Utag bar could of easily took middle with all of those ilshavoh. Shame he didnt attack. The aeon in the middle was building TMD, he had no point defence and no units other than aurara.

Building restorers and giving advice.. that's about it I think. I guess there wasn't a lot he could do given the lack of eco. But he should have expanded to the top beach when that fell.
