Jimmy was our shutdown corner. No one wanted to pass his way. Avoided his area. Had a picture of him on my wall as a kid. Great memories. Niner Forever. RIP Jimmy Johnson. 🙏
@@samuelkoster3236 Well Deion is the actual Best Cornerback to ever play for the Niners and just overall the best Cornerback ever but your forgetting that he played there for just one season. Jimmy Johnson played for the Niners for 12 Seasons and was 5x Pro Bowl 3x All Pro and was inducted to the 1970’s HOF decade team so basically it’s all just longevity.
Great player.
Great Niner.
Rest in peace Jimmy.
We could sure use him these days.
Just broke my heart everybody loves Coach 💔🙏😞

I saw him play. I'm old enough to remember. Truly outstanding! I think he made the tackle that injured Gale Sayers.
Great player! Saw him play. He was the brother of Olympian Rafer Johnson! Great guy! RIP!
The best cornerback in Niners history❤️💛
I'd concede that if Ronnie Lott would be considered the best DB in Niners history.
With all due respect, Deion….

I'd argue that charles woodson, darell green and ty law could be in that conversation because they could tackle as well@patek9789
