As a big Bad Religion fan and a musician, I don’t really care for this. It has no soul. It’s overproduced. The extra leads during the rhythm guitar are totally unnecessary. I get that auto-tune is kind of the industry standard for those recording the original (which Bad Religion doesn’t use) so I feel it’s unnecessary in a cover.
When people seek cover songs, they’re usually seeking the cover artist’s own take on the original. I get this is your take, technically speaking, but it all feels so forced. Especially with the producer/sound engineer’s presence. It all feels a little too “let’s cover this song to get the views and make a quick buck from the ads”…
Looking at some of your other covers, I feel the same. Not every single second of a song needs to have something going on. The space between notes is just as important as the notes themselves.
Overproduced garbage
In which way? Is the original overproduced as well? Because my cover is pretty much a copy.
Or is it that the sound quality is to good for you? Is that bugging you? If so.. you're weird.
