I'm fairly certain I heard somewhere that he was taking singing lessons, don't quote me on that. I think he said he wanted to push himself as a vocalist, and by God is he doing a good job.

Incredible progression in their songwriting skills. That post-breakdown bridge into the raspy croon into the higher falsetto note. Markus was hitting a lower-octave version of the falsetto at the beginning of every previous chorus, but they held the bigger moment until the end for more impact. Bravo.
I love Heroine and I love the Dark Pool, but if Thornhill was going to go for the more shoegaze-y sound this is how I wish they did it. Still melodic, ambient, and emotion but lots of technicality still.
This song sounds like the composition of classic invent animate and newer thornhill and i absolutely ADORE that

I don't know if this is the correct way to describe it. But I love the emotion and the fact that this one is so melodic and not as heavy or filthy.
Shade astray may be my favorite Invent Animate song becuase of the chorus, but this is my second favorite, and it's quite close.
I only listened since the album dropped and holy COW it is brilliant. This song in particular has either been on repeat in my headphones, or on repeat in my head. Absolutely beautiful piece of art.
Billy Talent, Spiritbox, and Archspire are some of my favorite bands from my area. Its too hard to choose one but I think Billy Talent will always have a special place in my heart.
Favourite band from here is an upcoming one called Floya. The vocalist was in time the valuator before. Go check them out! 🔥
Anyways I had the opportunity to see invent animate live last week with Erra and silent planet although I love those bands I mainly went there to go nuts on invent songs live and it was so fing great

My band from the United Stated has to be Silent Planet, definitely my favorite band of all time too, can’t wait for new stuff from them! Also an absolutely amazing track by Invent Animate, they cannot miss and they are truly getting much better with each release and I just love them so much. Can’t wait for the album in a couple of days.

About bands from my home country, difficult to say as the metalcore scene is not that big in the Netherlands. But Another Now is a band you can check out, they have quite an unique sound.
I feel like we have a growing core scene in France (my country), which I really like, so it's hard to pick a favourite! I will go with two of my fav bands of the moment: Ninth (they are not yet known, but they deserve attention) and Resolve!
And this new single from Invent Animate is absolutely fantastic! I loved it from the first listen. Probably one of my favourite singles of 2023 so far.

Can't expres how excited i am for Heavener Holy shit! Altho i'm worry a bit that it will be more song focused sound then musical as they used to so far. Man i love their combination of technicality and melodic atmosphere and i'll hate to lose that.

I'm from Mexico and we have an amazing metalcore band called Afterglow, they've collabed with Kingdom of Giants so I urge you to check them out, Black Hole is one of my favs by them.

Caliban is my favorite german band. They have been at my side for a long time and I have seen them 4 times live. (Electric Callboy is the German band I am currently listen to the most. I am going to see them live next month.) Another band I really like is Callejon - their earlier stuff is soo good. Can’t say too much about the newer stuff because I haven’t listen to their newer songs that much.
As an Aussie, there’s a lot to choose from. But the obvious choice for me is The Amity Affliction!

My favourite band from Australia is probably always gonna be Hands like Houses. Windwaker close 2nd. There's a whole mountain to choose from down here, super hard to pick. Polaris 3rd probably but really, really difficult to put them above Windwaker's last release. Depends how new Polaris goes.

Not a lot of metal bands in Brazil, I guess the most creative one I know is Odeon, they are kind of like a metal rock fusion group that has a lot of catchy songs (like "Gasoline"), definitely recommend it
