Thanks so much Darrin, I appreciate the compliment. You could probably tell that my filming technique changed from when I first started the video some 6 months earlier to when I finished it. I’m still working on my cinematic style. 😁 Thanks for watching!
Agates are used in some jewelry particularly in the middle East and central Asia. It's a gorgeous stone and the patterns are so beautiful. Great work on tumbling these stones. Cheers!
I feel your pain with giving up on the 'perfect' stone. As you said, agates take months and at some point, you just give up on stage 1 in order to move forward. You do get gorgeous results however!
Hi. I use 1 micron AO polish, which is approximately 14000 grit. I haven’t used tin oxide yet but I do have some and I’m currently making a video which will compare aluminum, tin, and cerium oxides as final polish on similar rocks. Stay tuned for that one because it should be very interesting! And thanks for watching!
need to show the rocks after every step people want to see the changes not just rocks in a vibratory tumbler that's just basically before and after not start to finish
Thanks for the feedback Joseph. I’m constantly refining my videos to make them better. It’s always a battle between content and time. Thanks for watching!
Hi, thanks for watching. I’m not sure I understand your question but if you are asking me for how much I can sell them I honestly have no idea. I just tumble rocks for fun and usually just give them away or return them to the river. I don’t imagine they would sell for very much though 😆
Great tumbling video. Nothing better than shiny rocks. Thank you so much
You’re most welcome, and thanks for watching!
Love those blue Botswana agates. That slurry rinse bucket is pretty slick! I now know I'm not tumbling long enough for sure. Great video.
Thank you Lorri, I appreciate you watching my earlier videos 😁
The blue lace has some stunning color! And the final piece of petrified palm @24:32 is awesome.
Hey Dude, I agree, especially with that dark palm wood. Thanks for watching!
Loved that one blue lace agate with the banding and the palm wood. These are 2 I haven’t tried yet. Loved the others too!
I think my favorite of the batch is either the dark palm wood or one of the Botswanas. Thanks again for watching!
You're doing a great job polishing the rocks! Impressed with the lapidary setup in your garage.
Thanks for kind words, and thanks for watching!
Love the petrified palm. They are all very nice.
That one is my favorite as well thanks for watching!
That was a well made video. I enjoyed watching.😎

I learned a lot with your vibratory tumbler. I was using a little too much polish in mine.😊
Thanks, I’m so glad I could help!

Thanks, and thank you for watching!
I been dumping the Step 1 water outside on the grass and the grass in that area is longer than anywhere isle.
I do the same thing sometimes and I have not had any negative issues so far…..🤞

We are doomed to a life of occasional disappointment 😥. But when it all comes together, WOW! Right!?!? Thanks again for watching!
😊
Thanks for watching Chris!

What was the grit of the last aluminum oxide polish you said you used ? Have you used tin oxide for polishing ?
