The “SOC” stands for System On Chip. This means that the entire computer system, including permanent and temporary storage, is printed on a single chip. This is the same kind of tech used in just about every modern, computerized device: cell phones, cameras, TVs, and Apple’s new line of M-series computers. It allows systems to run much faster than old systems that would have separate RAM or OS memory.

Version 2? That snuck up on me. Lol! FYI: An SOC is "System on Chip" lots of phones have them -when they talk about a Snapdragon -thats a SOC.

Great video! I am curious what might have caused the video issue that you experienced at the end of your flight. Did you get it to happen again on subsequent flights?

One of the 2 crashes ive ever had was on a Version 1 X8 Mini. I was so excited to get this (owning a Mini 2 already, in hindsight I can't imagine what I was expecting, but like you Ive had a few X8SE models. This was the first Mini 2 challenger in 2020. Flew the poor thing right into a tree (Pilot distraction with my neighbor- proving why you shouldn't distract a pilot with an aircraft in flight. It was stuck, then tumbled about 20 meters through the branches and landed on its feet. Thought I dodged a bullet but GPS was dead. Fimi nice enough to replace it.

As you were speaking about the accident, it looked like there was almost another one. I have the Ver 1 and only use it for decorations...lol.
