This song was scientifically proven to lift your spirits. I love Queen. One of the highlights of my life was being at their concert in Montreal, 1981. My birthday! Sadly, Freddie also died on my birthday a decade later in '91. Light a candle for him every year.

Queen is a British rock band that was formed in 1970 and was comprised of:
Freddie Mercury - Lead vocals and pianist
Roger Taylor - Drummer and vocals
Brian May - Lead guitar and vocals
John Deacon - Bass guitar Queen is an unusual rock band.
All four members had amazing musical talent and each of the four members was a successful composer. Queen is the only group in which all members of the band have songs, that they composed, was inducted into the Music Hall of Fame.
Each member of Queen was a strong and unique individual. They each had different musical tastes which are probably why Queen's catalog of music contains such a variety of genres. They wrote and recorded songs that are soft rock, hard rock, progressive rock, arena rock, thrash rock, glam rock, rockabilly, r&b, blues, pop, soul, funk, disco, dance music, jazz, gospel, folk, opera, show tunes, ragtime, etc. They would sometimes combine multiple genres in a single song.
Queen was my first concert as a kid (for The Game Tour). Nobody ever came close. Freddie was mesmerizing!
Saw this legendary band open up for Mott the Hoople, May '74 Broadway's Uris Theater. Freddie Mercury, Wow! What a frontman! I'd love to hear "The Golden Age of Rock and Roll", and "Sweet Jane" sometime.

Yes, my favorite band! Every album up through 1980s The Game are gems! If you listen to Take My Breath Away, the studio version is an awesome production feat, though many fans will say listen to live versions of all songs all the time.

Queen is a trip, everyone should take. The many styles of music, they completely master, is amazing. Oh, and btw the lead Guitarist Brian May has a doctorate in astrophysics and has been consulted by NASA.

A few fun facts about Queen:
* Guitarist Sir Brian May has a Ph.D. in Astrophysics and built his electric guitar (Red Special) when he was 17 (with his dad).
* Bassist John Deacon has a degree in electronics. He designed and built the amp that Brian sometimes uses to create unique sounds on Red Special. John was also involved in the band’s financial management.
* Drummer Roger Taylor has a degree in biology (pre-med). His vocal range is better than most lead singers of other groups.
* Lead singer Freddie Mercury has a degree in graphic design. It goes without saying that his vocal range was amazing and he was the best front man of any band.
* All four have written #1 hits, and all are members of the Songwriters Hall of Fame.

There are a few outstanding guitarists in the world. Brian May (this guy right here 😊) is one of them. I've heard that he still plays the guitar his dad built for him when he was a teenager. Pretty cool.
To me, Queen's diversity is only surpassed by 2 other bands. The Beatles and Led Zeppelin in that order. A Queen journey would be very cool
