Schematic diagram: drive.google.c... The idea of creating a brushless motor control circuit Brushless motor speed control Everyone has suggestions to make the circuit more complete
The Mosfet terminal D (middle one) and the screw hole metal are the same connecting conductor, it is important to show how isolation is done between the screw and the body of the heatsink. Otherwise all D terminals will be shorted.
@@matejgamingandotherstuff6484 he is using a special insulation washer, it keeps the metal screw from touching the fet metal tab, its hard to see in the video, but its there, these are very common in power supplies.
This circuit simply isn't compatible with a delta configuration. A delta configuration requires current to flow through 2 coils, and this only does one, and to the common central point. You'd need 6 transistors and a microcontroller to control that - you've just made an actual ESC that you can control!
Thnx brother it's great job but i have question this bldc is for 4 wire connection witch named start connection please can you make tutorial to bldc for 3 wire who named delta connection... Thanks a lot of i like your videos 😉
Very cool! Maybe I'm wrong, but it seems that to get more Motor speed you are turning the Potentiometer knob to the opposite (left) side? Another thing, is it not possible to stop the Engine completely? Thanks for sharing.
Hi Sir author Can u please anwer if mosfets IRF540 can be used instead of 3205? Also, the diagram in the end of the video is covered by pictures of next videos. Can you please put the diafram in a file and share? I will try to software simulate this circuit to check other parameters and help to improve it Thanks a lot for your effort and great work Best regards
URGENT!!! I am looking for an audio pre-amplifier capable of 300\400 times gain. There are several diagrams in the N.E. manual with explanations, and it can be nerve-wracking to stand there with formulas to be able to find the ideal Rx value ..... . The LM358 IC is great but I would like to know what is it capable of doing? What max results can be obtained? In short a noise or a voice at a certain distance .... . How to get it as close as possible and then run it through an 'AB' type amplifier. But what wattage is needed ....... ? Thank you very much.
This is very impressive! I want to be able to do a scaled up version of this, for say a 5kw BLDC, to work for my boat conversion. I don't really know the 2nd thing about this stuff. Anyone willing to share their wealth of knowledge? I intend to use ebike-type parts but obviously throttle grip speed controller is t gonna cut it for a boat. A foot pedal could work, but is also not ideal. Any ideas?
GUYS, has anyone tried to assemble this, I've tried several, with several types of mosfet and none works, I followed the letter, from several different sites, and I came to a conclusion, FAKE. if it were that simple, you wouldn't need sophisticated drivers to run such a motor.
1.) He shorted the gate to drain of every transistor with a PN junction diode and then shorted the drain and gate of each transistor with a seperate resistor but with different combination. 2.) The potentiometer has no groud connection; it's Voltage input is with a resistor that is supplied through the signal out pin of the same pot. 3.) The drains of each transistors are free floating (idk if they are connected to the heat sink or something, because he's connected the bldc motor to the heat sinks! NOT THE DRAIN!) Yeah so i think it's fake.
Hey but i found another video about the same concept and with same schematic. Looks like that's working fine, maybe it does work. Gotta try myself. Edit:- czcams.com/video/nTgNCvQhwO4/video.html
Like you for the diagram! There is no 4.7 kOhm resistor on the diagram, but there is one in the video. Why ? I repeated it exactly from the video - it works, but the motor itself does not start - you need to push it. I supply 9 volts from a laboratory source. Why not 12 volt power?
@@Fernybeme Yes surely it does but it does not bring it back to zero RPM post starting unless disconnected from power source, which actually should happen as there is a variable resistor or a potentiometer, when in closed position it should cut power to moter even if it's connected to power source, this is my concern dear friend 😂😂🙏🏻🙏🏻
@@Yaman-D-Chhaya ah, i see. Well you should be able to by changing the value of the potentiometer. He is currently using a 100kΩ potentiometer in series with what looks like a 4.7kΩ resistor to ground. I believe if you swap it to 200kΩ or 300kΩ it should bring it to zero. If not you can probably use a voltage devider instead. The will change the input from a resistance based speed control to a voltage based one.
Why does this work, and how did you know it would, before building it? What causes the commutation? Does each section sense the electrical behavior of the next/previous driver/coil?
This is an experimental and simplified circuit showing the principles of BLDC motor drive. It absolutely isn't a working design for driving a motor in real life situations. It probably won't self-start, it will have poor torque characteristics and there is no protection to prevent overstress of the motor or the drivers. If you build this hoping to use it to drive a real motor with a real load then you'll be disappointed, just buy a commercial BLDC driver instead. If you build it then expect a fun science demo and nothing more.
I also watched various videos. The circuit is almost the same in all of them. I did. it didn't work. I checked again and again. to see if there is an error. Frankly, I couldn't find it.
thanks for your effort, I did everything but the potentiometer doesn't affect the speed!.......and if I have a motor with three wires only how I could connect it?
Nice video! One question: how do I make it stop? I've been looking to implement on/off burron to the slide potentiometer to use it as 0-100% motor driver and still need help
the schematic in the circuit with the one in the video is not the same. it turned out that the diode was reversed and I followed the path in the video instead dropping the adapter and the hdd didn't work.
