the townsfolk had lived underground for as long as anyone could remember, the devastating and frequent hailstorms that formed in their area making it impossible to have a life above the surface. A young scientist finally cracked the solution, and the cloud dispersal machine was put into use. Selling the technology brought the money to build a beautiful suburban city, which thrived for many years- until Guard realised that taking the machine would be the fastest way to take control.

This is incredible! I love Guard’s body language, especially with the line “how you ask, are they up to the task.” Those are the movements of a cocky and powerful villain.
You can tell the song had a lot of influence on the story, and I think that’s really cool.
