Many thanks - but the first 2 minutes of your vid are superfluous.
It would be great if doing this didn’t remove libreoffice documents from the Windows right click context menu list under “New” :(
Can you find a way to set your margins to 1 inch all around (default margins for Microsoft Word since 2007) and save it as your default margins without having to save your text document as a template and making that said template your default template.
It's infuriating that LibreOffice doesn't give you the option is set your default margins. The default margins they use is .79 millimeters or centimeters, which is fine for the rest of the world, but it certainly isn't fine here in the U.S.
What you just described is the way you set default margins in LibreOffice.
AJ Reissig I know that. It's just a shame that an office suit whose whole reason for existing being open source and freedom wouldn't allow it's users to set their own default margins. Setting default margins by saving a template as a default template is archaic compared to software nowadays.
AJ Reissig I'm not singling you out or anything, just ranting.
+SuperHollowfied I don't see why it's infuriating. I think its a more flexible system for setting defaults than what Word uses. But maybe it's just because I use LibreOffice all of the time. I'm used to it.
