      JFT2 is the Z0G.
Most Canadians are also not that great.
Most Canadians: have a superiority complex, and downplay or dismiss all of Canadas problems.
Most are 💉tards, bootlickers, and support degeneracy (ie sexual deviancy, and abortion)
A common insult I hear my fellow Canadians use is: “yOu sOuND lIkE aN aMerIcAn!”
They think they are so much better than everyone.
And I’m talking about the anglos, not just the francophones.

That’s an impressive statement! I don’t think a lot of civilians know just how capable JTF2 are. I’d have to assume a big reason for this is their joint training with the JSOC community. I do wonder if your cousin is perhaps one of those CAG guys who dare not say they’d want DEVGRU before JTF2! 😉 Kidding aside, all Western Tier 1 units are the cream of the crop and I’m sure if the shit hit the fan, your cousin would be equally happy to have say DEVGRU’s Gold Squadron. 👊

😂🤣 Ranger RRC operator Mike Edwards was just on the Combat Story podcast where he told of a mission where they hit a huge Taliban village on the Paki boarder in 2007. Mike was working with a mix pool of US, Afghan SOF and OGAs from the Omega program in this time frame. Mike had 2 Canadian JTF-2 operators augmented to his group, and he said their ROEs were so strict that they couldn’t even return fire unless they were being directly shot at. Lol The 2 Canadians didn’t bother telling this to the rest of the element before hand, and when they moved into the village the Canadians were on point, and got confronted with a Taliban guard. They froze up and trained their weapons on him but couldn’t fire. That was when Mike came up the middle and zipped the guy with his MP-7 and put him down. He then politely told the 2 Canadians that they need to get (in the back) of the element and stay there. After a huge battle Mike said he never saw those JTF-2 guys ever get into the fight lol.
I’m calling BS on your story 😁

This Canadian JTF2 guy was so casual, mellow, laid back, etc. and then that switch VERY CLEARLY happened when he recalled the moment in the video of the enemy: “bragging about 200 each day” and it was what drove him to push so hard. He knew what these “men” were doing to women and children every day and he was going to stack as many bodies because of the clear impact and obvious immediate benefits of doing so.
Canadians have a very long and well earned reputation as being some of the most courageous, brave, professional, and feared military members going back throughout history.

He's talking about stacking bodies of people trafficking kids in a warzone, where he deployed as a SOF sniper to kill ISIS fighters. (The guys who filmed themselves literally lighting people on fire & staking people to roads...)
I'd agree with you when it comes to conventional wars...that's people from one nation fighting & killing those of another. Its tragic, and in different circumstances I think most of them would probably get along well.
Sometimes there is something righteous about killing bad guys.
If these people were willing to murder scores of civilians, take girls as young as 14 as wives (because, you know, 13 is just toooooooo young...), willing to traffic kids, and do the kinds of things ISIS was doing...by all means, I'm glad guys like him are there to stack em up

It's amazing to see these operators perform so well considering the state of the Canadian military. The Canadian government has neglected the military so much over the last few decades to the point where our front-line CF-18 fighters are so old we had to buy more from Australia's retired fleet to keep up our NORAD obligations. After WW2, we had the third-largest navy. We don't even meet our NATO budget obligation of 2% of GDP. I have never served but I have so much respect for those that do, in Canada and our allies.
