Never and I mean NEVER in a million years would I have thought to use hairspray to shape and stiffen a hat, honestly I'm Flabbergasted Different video but good none the less Rob! Keep Getting At It Brother!
Hey Rob neat trick, when I was In the Marines We used to put our Utility Covers over a Plastic Bucket and use Spray Starch, it dried clear and it kept its shape for quite a while, could use on Wool I guess, and it would be a Little Water Proof as well....
That is OK I’ve got several hats that has lost Their Shape I am definitely going to try that thanks for sharing that video my friend never would’ve thought hairspray would’ve done that🤠👍
Good video & tips. It works better than starch especially for protecting against rain. Be careful on which brand you use though if you have breathing issues even outside. Some of its strongly scented. Helps the Mohawk haircut.
@@HamiltonOutdoors I've tried the pump sprays but they don't hold as good. Even outside some of that stuff is stout & hard as heck to get off glasses if wind is up. Lol. Ladies at the Dollar store look at you funny when you buy it & don't have much hair to spray. 😂

Yes it definitely works pretty good just make sure your hats are good and clean before you spray them otherwise it seals the dust and dirt

Lots of hair spray like 80's hair styles LOL
Well it worked in the '80s so I guess it'll work on a hat now LOL
