- This is a condominium in Costa Del Este. This area is considered one of the expensive areas to live in with their own mall and shopping plazas, a plethora of restaurants, a couple bars, and very family friendly. I paid $700 a month to rent a room here, inclusive of all bills, a couple toiletries, and a weekly cleaner. The views are phenomenal and the apartment is spacious. thanks for the video, one question the neighbors of the building that have pets take them out on a leash, is there respect for that or not?

Your welcome! I do not understand your question on if there is respect for having dogs on leashes.
I imagine having your dog on a leash when walking through the building may be a rule.
OMG the condo you are renting is beautiful. How fare are you from the city and the airport? Do you know of other areas similar to Costa Del Este with a mall, stores, restaurants, high rise with a balcony view etc. located closer to the city?
Thanks! 15 minutes each way without traffic. Though to leave the neighbourhood you have quick access to the highway so that makes it quick most of the time.
There is no other neighbourhood like Costa Del Este in my opinion, and if there is, it is definitely further away. Costa Del Este is close to the city because it is right next to the bridge and there is never traffic on the bridge…. At least when I went on it. So I always got to where friends and I were going first because of the bridge.
But note that once you are closer to Cinta Costera you will have all those things you mentioned in walking distance. Just like in Costa Del Este. But we have less traffic and more space.

Hi, it was residential condominium building and not a hotel. That apartment is in an affluent neighbourhood and cost $1300 a month.
But they are cheaper apartments around the city such as where I currently live for $950 USD for a two bedroom, two bathroom, fully furnished.
However, there isn’t a beach too close to Panama City. You will have to rent a car and drive a couple hours away to find a beach.
This place is beautiful, but I have never heard of Costa del Este before... Is that the name of the City?? Sorry I am not very well traveled. Just curious where to find this place. So is $700 per month normal price or did you get a special deal?> ? I know some CZcamsrs get special rates to do videos.. kinda like free advertising or something. Thanks for posting!

Costa Del Este is one of the neighbourhoods in Panama City. I am renting the room, and it was offered to me at about $200 less if I stayed a minimum of 6 months, but I am only staying 2.
The entire condo would be $1300 and up depending on the apartment.
How did you find the renter? I am planning on staying in Panama for 3 months

Thanks! The apartments in the building ranged from $1300 to $2000 USD a month. Depends on if you rent one unfurnished or not. However, I was renting a room so my price of $700 a month included the rent, utilities, and someone to clean once a week.
So I am not familiar with the bills unfortunately. However I would say depending on how much you have on your A/C and how fast of an internet speed you have, your total could range from below $100 to $150/$200 a month.
HI, i’m thinking on moving on this building. Do you think the area was noisy because its near to the main roads and businesses? Hope you can help me. I’ve been reading really bad reviews because of the noise 😫

Costa Del Este isn’t noisy to me at all really, but this around the area of Top Towers was noisy because of the main road yes. And the windows and doors do not keep ALL of the noise out.
However, that did not bother me too much and I work from home. I am a heavy sleeper, so that was fine. And sometimes my coworkers heard the sirens and car honking over the Zoom calls.
My conclusion, yes it is noisy but on Sundays and late at night all you will hear are the birds. 😅

@@alexamoon21 I found my roommate via the Young Panama Expats group on Facebook. Some persons request a roommate and others request places for rent.
You can check there and/or when you stay in an Airbnb you can speak to the owner to negotiate for the period you want to rent and at what price.
