Spencer sent HUNK and his men to get G virus sample but in the other side Wesker was planning to betray Spencer which is why Ada secretly works for him cuz Wesker wanted viruses for himself also which is how he created Uroboros in RE5. In RE2 she wasn't working for Wesker yet since he was still recovering from the Mansion incident (he got gutted by a Tyrant). The Company that sent Ada wasn't named in neither version of the game. That same Company would be eventually taken over by Wesker but that was only a few years after Raccoon City incident.

She could easily get rid of him, just a pawn, but something changed inside her, she felt in love, and that was the reason she failed her mission, and now she cannot allow herself to fail again, she still cares for him, but cannot stay at his side.

She didn't fail, and neither will she, even though they like each other, Ada never fails her mission, she just helps Leon, then accomplish her mission, so far that's what's always been happening between them, Leon gets in trouble, Ada helps him, betrays him after, then accomplishes her mission.

I like Ada because she is character with so many layers, her motive always questionable. When it comes to Ada there are always comment who said, "I hate Ada, she is bad & deceitful. How people could like her?"
Yes she is using Leon, it's true. But she also multiple times save Leon & assist him, it's also fact. Anyway, she is a spy & supposed to act alone. Ada is not hero, she is more antihero. Unlike traditional hero, antihero motive more for personal gain rather than goodness. People always mistakenly antihero with villain. Antihero is not villain because they won't harm innocent people.
That doesn't make her an Anti-Hero tho.
Anti-Heros ultimately do the right thing, they just don't give a fuck about common rules or the Law. But they never hurt innocent people either, just the bad ones. And they are willing to kill the bad guy for good. Wolverine is a classic Anti-Hero. Ghost Rider is a Anti-Hero, Red Hood is one and even the Punisher.
Like you said, Ada is out for personal gain rather than goodness. She does bad things and good things equally when it suits her. That makes her neither Hero, Anti-Hero or Villain. She's just an Opportunist.

Leon x Claire doesn't exist. They've at no point been interested in each-other. Leon being played by Ada (and Ada thawing out of her ice-queen-spy persona vs Leon being like a lost puppy without her) is a common thread in any game involving Leon and Ada. They're the de-facto- 'forbidden' couple - the charming, overbearing 'save the world' open-book hero (who was a cop, later a government agent), fascinated by the super-spy who goes against all authority and works alone as a merc for shady corporations and with hidden motives. Opposites attract and all that sort of thing.
You're a fan of the real relationship then; Cleon is just fantasy which is getting ridiculous these days with new gamers thinking that's actually a real thing. Ada x Leon is the real deal whether people like it or not - in every RE that follow both Ada and Leon it's crystal clear they like each other; heck Ada even compromised her cover and mission to save Leon on 4 even though she's a professional.

my interpretation is that she didn't betray leon, she could easily have shot him at the end when he had the g-virus but she didn't and that was intentional by capcom's script writers, also she saved leons life by giving him the rocket launcher at the very end
I liked the story-arc better in the remake. They put more of a human face on the victims, and they made Leon less naive and gullible than in the original. Also, Ada's cover story was more convincing in this than the original when she claimed she was looking for her boyfriend. Even with the FBI cover story, Leon seemed skeptical. It seemed he never bought her story. Not completely, at least. He said at the end that he didn't believe her. Her story didn't add up. All in all, I like the current story path. It'll be interesting to see where it goes.
To be fair to Ada, she told Leon several times to turn back/get away. What happened was his fault as much as hers.

Prefer Leon x Claire being that they have cute interactions and more potential for a healthy relationship. Though I'll admit Ada x Leon is entertaining. I like that Leon isn't as much of a dumbass towards Ada as he was in DC. He still keeps some precaution towards her by not completely dismissing Annette's reveal.

But of course...misleading tittle... making viewers think by clicking on the video that there's actual TWO choices to make Ada "betray" you or "love" you... She doesn't betray him. The scenes will go one way no matter what. This is all cutscenes of her from the game and they do not change at all. This isn't a interactive story game where your choices in dialog chance things. Ada and Leon scenes are gonna remain the same no matter what.

It was sad. Especially when Kendo said he was going to put her to bed, too. That brought tears to my eyes. He didn't want this, but he didn't want her to become like the other victims. When I first played this, I tensed up when he approached her because I thought she would attack him. However, when you heard her weak call to him, you realized that there was still a trace of humanity left. Although not much. You could also see that this part solidified Leon's resolve about stopping what caused this. From then on, his crusade continued.
