Watching you cut is very interesting! I (we, I'm sure) learn so much just from watching and observing your technique, how you hold your tools, your pacing, things like that. Also, watching anyone carve is just so relaxing anyways. Thank you, as always, for sharing.

thank you, yes it was interesting, the confidence you show handling the tools, and ofcourse your thinking aloud. Great.

starting off, i was amazed that you cut off the edge freehand - i know i would have to use a straight edge and blade to get it right ... shows your years of experience nicely ...

Great to watch, as always! Have you considered an Environment Cabinet to put your lino in a few hours before cutting? One that would hold the temperature at e.g. 20 C ? That way you wouldn't get a cold start morning effect.

Hi Laura, I've been watching your Isolation series and now your second one. Both have been inspirational. Making up for my cancelled trip to the UK and your woodblock workshop with Shirley. It has been great to watch you working and see the different ways you work and the great tools you use. Many thanks to both you and Ben for such a wonderful resource you are providing for the printmaking world. Keep up the good work, I'm staying tuned. One question, you had a device to help you get the most out of your tubes of ink, a little rolling up, crimping device. What is is called please and where can I get one! Many thanks again to you both. All the best, Simone

I got mine in the UK but I think they are described as toothpaste squeezers - here’s one on amazon www.amazon.co.uk/kwmobile-Metal-Toothpaste-Tube-Squeezer/dp/B07G2MTDNK/ref=sr_1_9?dchild=1&keywords=Tube+squeezer&qid=1591908414&sr=8-9

another thought, a question really ... when you're not teaching or filming doesn't the detail work get tedious and downright boring for you? i think you mentioned once that you listen to bbc, is this what you meant? thanks!

Hi - No never - it’s completely absorbing, but I do listen to books or the radio. I can quite easily spend a whole day cutting and lose track of time completely!
