There are plenty of videos and news outlets that have explained the incident far better than I ever could. I love so many of KyoAni's works, so this is sort of my small way of saying thank you.
Clannad was probably the anime that really hooked me to the medium. To this day it's easily one of my favorite anime of all time. I also think the soundtrack perfectly suits the show. A great mix of cheerful, almost goofy music as well as incredibly beautiful and sad pieces.
