  • Route included. Fantastic full on Scotland MTB route taking in all kinds of tracks. The climbs are hard, the descents are worth it! May be not the best singletrack in Scotland but certainly up there at the top. Highly recommended. Been visiting Braemar for years and its been right under my nose.

    That's a fantastic looking big bike day out Illya, one thing I always enjoy when watching your channel is how you get to different out of the way places around Scotland to Mountain Bike, something I enjoy doing myself when I get the chance, particularly trails that are either rarely or never seen, thanks for sharing! 😁🚵‍♂️🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿👍

      Ebike Xplorer MTB Thanks for watching. Hopefully do more soon. That area is a recent find compared to Aviemore.

    Wow, what a route. Not sure I'd fancy the section above the gorge if it's as steep and narrow as it looks. Another for the bucket list.

      The gorge’s side is steep but I think the camera in 4:3 record mode has exaggerated it a little.

    Great loop and a good effort. However to drop from Morven(@872M) into Braemar(@339M) without crossing any tar roads would be nothing short of miraculous?. And whilst it is possible to connect the two by bike it hasn't been done here. The technology had a moment possibly - the O/S map will keep you right but the hill in this video is actually Morrone @ 859M?? Only saying.;-). Keep up the good work.

      If you ever come up that way then also checkout Ballater and Heartbreak Ridge. I have a few films of trails there. Latest Calm B4 the Storm.

  • @Itsthejourneynotthedestination

    Any idea of distance covered ? Guessing about 16/17 miles ? Also, how easy or difficult if the track to find once you come to the end of the landy track up by Loch Callater.

    • @North3rdMedia
      @North3rdMedia  Před 3 lety

      Looking at the map quickly about 29km. We travelled up to Loch Callater then back tracked back to the fork in the on the way out. The fork is easy to spot. and very quickly meet the river to cross. Hope this helps.

      @@North3rdMedia I did the munro above Loch Callater a couple months back, the one with the crashed plane on it so I'm familiar with that.
