- 4 years after my favorite trucks ever were scrapped at my local yard, I finally managed to find one again. After traveling thousands of miles to find one, I was absolutely ecstatic to find one still running in June of 2024! After talking to the driver, I leaned that I was very lucky since this truck does not run more than a few times a month. This video contains many of the worst clips that I got so you should expect more footage of the same truck, but better clips over the next few years.

Never heard of a full eject M/A. I guess it’s a custom truck for that WM yard in Colorado. So glad you were finally able to film one! It’s amazing to see old trucks still running in 2024.
There’s video of one from Wisconsin or Illinois that was uploaded years ago. I’m pretty this was actually an option for it back when this truck was new.

Got that unique strobe in the back i see? Such a classic to see anything Happy fact branded let alone a LE M/A at that. Glad to see some still chugging along somewhere in the US. Used to be a ton of them in west alabama i heard about before WM made most bite the dust and then made the remaining ones bite the dust after the Advanced Buyout. Cool work!

Wow, the sound of this one brings back some really great memories. Surprised it is still on the road for sure, but the arm is still pretty quick!

@dron733 I would have to disagree on that, kinda odd they'd send a IL truck to Colorado, but waste sends trucks as far away as possible when they get new trucks. Main reason I disagree is cause of the strobe light on the back which as I'm aware used to be a go to choice for veolia when they were around. unheard of WM would buy a rectangular beacon on these trucks, but hey you never know .
I know that early waste management around 2003/2005ish bought their trucks like this with those strobes but it was very very few and, only a few mega haulers bought their trucks with their strobes like that. Read a another comment and saw it's a early 102 truck, if nic is still reading comment section replies, number 209206 are what year exactly? I'm not exactly sure
