    Nice build. For the line out. I would advise putting the positive wire to the remote 12volt(blue wire). It will help from draining your battery because it comes on from the radio 12v. That’s how I’d wire it.

      What are you saying? It sounds like you're saying that he should hook the remote wire into the constant power supply for the amp. That would keep the amp on all the time.
      In this setup, the best thing to do is pull the radio and locate either the factory sub amp turn on wire, or find the radio ignition wire. This is best because if the car had RAP (retained accessory power), you won't lose the sub amp when you turn off the car. If you don't have that, or don't want to pull the radio, the next best option would be to tap into the accessory circuit at the ignition.
      I never liked using audio detection to power the remote.

    Thanks for sharing! Needing to get an LOC now, have been looking for something like this since I got a truck with Sony package last August. Hopefully can pop the P3 back in soon

    You should install an in line fuse in the LOC power line. The fuse on the amp power wire (I really hope that was installed) is way too big for the LOC power wire to pop with a dead short. A dead short on that wire will turn it into a lightbulb fast.
