What is it with chocolate bar makers that instead of upping the price of a bar, a mars bar for example, they keep the price the same and the bar shrinks and the amount of chocolate is removed. Remember the saying, nougar, caramel and THICK THICK chocolate in a Mars. The chocolate in the top of a Mars bar used to be around 4-5mm thick (in modern day dimensions!), now it's almost sprayed on just to cover the caramel!...

Please can anyone remember the peanut covered toffee bar that was log shaped and wrapped in dark see through wrapper? Its been bugging me for decades as it was a favourite of mine in the mid/late seventies 😩😊

Cadbury Fuse? ... Cadbury Nutty Bar? ... Rowntree's Nutty?

The Rowntree's Nutty came in a very dark brown see through wrapper. Log shaped with toffee and peanuts but had no chocolate on.

I'd kill for a Nutty bar or a toffee and mallow egg. So much better than a creme egg. 😊

Wasn't born until 1978 so by the time I was eating chocolate some of these had already been discontinued or the packaging other products undergone redesigns of their packaging. Examples of the latter would be Milky Bar Fruit and Nut and possibly also Lion Bar. I also that the ad slogan for Yorkie probably wouldn't be allowed if it were advertised today because for example girls play sports that th As ateengers I actually disliked that add because of the slogan.
