50:45 one of the best moment in gaming history. Between the narration and the flashback there's this moment of silence, when the time froze and you're just watching these characters and hearing Red's sobbing it felt really heart wrenching. That's the strenght of this storytelling.
Too bad the character models going cross-eyed (I assume it's the result of an old game on modern hardware) kinda takes away from it.
In the first Brothers in arms, Baker is screaming at himself for not bringing those two soldiers along with him on his mission. They ended up dying and Leggot almost goes insane because he was a lone survivor.
Of all the military games I've played in my day, THIS series is and has been the best series I've ever played. I still think about the stories and characters years later. The actual maps have this amazing atmosphere about them, it makes it feel like an early morning in a fresh spring field with morning dew, or a cold raining spring day. They just nailed the feelings and emotions, something only very few games have ever done so well in my opinion. I wish they would do a remaster of road to hill 30 and Earned in blood.

Allen and Garnett is my most favorite duo in World War games. They were very funny when they arguing at each other in road to hill 30 and earned in blood. I almost cried when I see them died under the command legget. I was sad, really sad. I hope they remastered these 2 masterpieces.

If you played Road to hill 30, Desolas death was brutal.
Imagine a reboot tho probably have nightmares of Legget getting blown up over and over lol with all those pretty and very grahic images that stick in your mind then Legget haunts your dreams lol
Ruprt Yes, he was hit by a Junkers stuka dive bomber that mutilated his body. Desola's corpse was one of the most morbid scenes of RTH30.
I also love how this game explains things that didn't happen in RTH30
In RTH30: it is said that Red had a rough morning
In EiB: it is explained what actually happened, that Red lead the 2nd Squad before he meet with Baker

I love how the ingame dialogues is now sounds better than Road to Hill 30
In RTH 30: most HD voices you can only hear is Baker's Narration before the mission starts
While in EiB: Most Voices & sounds too are already improved

Brothers in arms is a very disturbing game and I like it lol but the characters are really freaky they feel very real and the deaths are real Aswel that's probably why it give me the chills call of duty WW2 won't be as good no but how hard they try to focus on a single group of the big red one

It kinda ruins the cinematic experience when the enemies have giant red circles that deplete when you put your game crosshair and shoot them with the enemy's weapon instead of your own.
The red suppression indicators can be turned off in the gameplay menu.
@@tsfullerton I meant to say that his decisions in using enemy weaponry and keeping game HUD elements on made for a shitty cinematic experience.
