- I honestly had alot of fun cutting my hair and its so nice and soft now compared to before! before i cut it i hadn't washed it for about 4 days so thats why it looks kinda greasy, but once i washed it, it got alot shorter too and i dig that.

ALSO my hair is greasy i said that already, but that's because I didn't want to wash it then have to wash it again after i cut it. I cut almost 3 inches off and it got shorter after I washed it. It all depends on your face shape not the size of your forehead take some hair and put it in front of your forehead and see if you like how it looks
if you're scared because of your forehead maybe go for a fuller fringe parted a bit further back! like a triangle parting instead of the round-wide one billie did :-)

I have a two block haircut so her hair would be considered medium length to me, she only took a little off. When I cut my hair I usually shave the sides and back to like 3/4 and trim the rest to around 2 - 3 inches so my bangs touch just barely above my forehead. I only ever let my hair grow a few cm longer than my eyebrows before I have to cut it all again. I originally had hair past my ass like 6 - 7 years ago, then chopped it off into a short boyish pixie cut.
What is considered short or long varies by person, some people think taking an inch or two off is a huge difference. I personally never cared for long hair so it wasn't a big deal to me, it most likely is a big deal to her.
