Easy way- is find a guide strand from the top zone . But of course you can cut with disconnected zones. Good choose if you don’t have big experience in hairdressing is cut a little bit and watch, if it’s not ok, cut a little bit again and watch)) cut and watch

I just got my first ever mid length shaggy haircut and having a bit of problems. Whenever I lay down or rest my head onto something, my hair is poking my scalp and making it irritated and itchy. I was wondering why this is happening? 😭
What haircut did you have before? Was there a similar sensation on the skin with that haircut? And where is the poking? on the roots? or do the ends of the hair poke?
@@artyomcutshair Thank you for responding to my message! So, before the haircut my hair was one length blunt bob. I never had this problem before. It seems like the ends of my hair is poking the roots/scalp of my head. My hair stylist used razor cut method instead of scissors. I never got a haircut with razor before. By the way, I really love your works! It’s amazing 👍🏻

Yes, you can. But this cut looks best on wavy/curly hair. I think you will have the option to texturize your hair with a flat iron or make a long term perm.
Ok but I need to move where your salon is, because I asked for a modern shag and the stylist went to town with the thinning shears and now I look like I have three strands of hair left 😬

We all wore & cut shags 1972 beauty school. This is not a shag. A shag today is called a mullet now
That's not really a shag. That's a mullet. The sides are layered but longer with a shag. Still pretty.
Hi! for me the difference between shag and mullet is in the contrast of front and back lengths. Mullet - high contrast of lengths. Shag - low contrast of lengths. but of course these are only names, and everyone puts their own criteria into these names.
I mean the contrast of the transition between lengths :)
