Sean's 2023 is a clear example of 'When hard work pays off" He was ready for short notice Imavov & Izzy bc he stays working hard so he didn't need a full camp to be ready i.e he stays ready. Well done, inspiring people to get off their ssssssss.

I remember Sean fighting twice within a month to start off the year. Dude is always active and down to fight. DDP needs 6 months on pampering after a fight.

Im happy for him, i wanted my favorite fighter Islam to get it but you know what ? You never go wrong with someone like Sean Strickland, he did a lot and achieved the impossible this year, plus he won so many hearts including mine, specifically for beating Izzy lol. Sean won 3 fights convincingly and won a title against arguably one of the top 2 middleweight champs in history where no one gave him a chance before the fight. Is Islam great? Of course he is, but there’s zero argument for him being fighter of the year even if he is admittedly the better mixed martial artist.

Well that's just blatantly wrong.
Sean wasn't lying when he said, years ago, that he gets substantially better, with every loss. Gets knocked out by a guy who knocked out your next opponent? Man up. Do what needs to be done. Forget your ego and ask that guy what's lacking in my game and how can I improve. How was my opponent better than I, and what can I do to remedy that. That's why I didn't like this last public stunt. I like that Strickland is crazy and has used what he's learned in life and overcame the poor foundations from early life. And I don't think it was genuine.
