John Deacon was deeply affected by Freddie's death and he retired shortly after. I don't blame him really. On the other hand its great that the rest of the Queen band is touring but IMHO I don't agree that Rodgers is singing old Queen hits already made famous by Irreplacable Freddie...they should be touring with "New" music.
I like queen, but i like bad company better.... and i like this fine tribute to Freddie. How are you going to compare the Operatic and Atmospheric voice of Mercury to the Soulful Bluesy voice of Paul Rodgers . Apples to oranges.... I bet Freddie would not bash Paul for this rendition of this song. They are both Incomparable and Immortal frontmen with their high place in rock hierarchy.... Let's leave it at that and skip all the bashing and comparing.
i have to admit tho paul is still pretty good, just couldnt write songs like mercury this i think was written by mercury i think w8 no i KNOW its physicly impossible to replace freddie and brian and taylor (not 2 be mean) but they did they passed the lines by TRYING to replace freddie
I`m a Queen fan, I was 5 years old when I first heard Queen, and I fell in love with it. Now I`m 22, and I think that there can be no repacement for Freddy. Paul sucks, his accent, voice is not worthy for singing Queen songs. It would have been better if they remained home. Queen shall live forever.

Yes, Freddy can't be covered but it doesn't mean that Paul Roger is bad. He's worse than Freddy but not so much to be called "Bad".
