Anastacia sounds amazing, with or without Beyoncé. It's crazy that America didn't put such a great singer in the position to have a great carreer in her home country. She could sing anything she wants and make it sound amazing. I love Beyoncé, but here Anastacia completely outshined her.

Who's the better singer and performer? it's a matter of taste, but I prefer Anastacia because she's real, she's not built and fake (that's why she is loved in Europe, and especially in Italy, in my opinion) and she has an amazing natural voice. She sang with Pavarotti and it was a perfectly balanced duet, it' wasn't just an experiment, it was just two great voices on a stage. It's shocking to hear that US radios didn't promote her songs in the early 2000's. She's had so many hit singles in 2000-2006. I just went to one of her concerts in Europe last month and I loved everything about her: voice, stage presence, not a diva at all... she was talking to random people in the crowd, making jokes, she arranged a duet with the crowd... she even apologized because the concert was rescheduled. She's just amazing.

Only once has Beyonce ever collaborated with Brian May and Roger Taylor. That was during the famous 2003 Pepsi "We Will Rock You" gladiator commercial also featuring Britney Spears and P!nk. Anastacia would also never work with them again. Imagine if Freddie Mercury was around to be a part of this.
Anastacia was clearly boycotted in the US because she was too good and could easily outshine other singers of her generation. She slayed here, all the other singers disappeared.

I went to an Anastacia concert just days ago in Europe and her live performance was out of this world, her voice is still amazing, everything live, no autotune, full repertoire, even at 54, with all the health issues she's had in life. I'm really sorry for America and for people like you who think that Mariah, Celine and Beyonce are better singers just because they're more famous in the US. Well, they are not. They might be successful, they might be good in other things they have done in their carreer, but they're not and never will be better singers than Anastacia. The only one from that generation who was better than Anastacia was Whitney, she was better than anyone, and America wasn't that nice to her as well.

But it's clear that America boycotted or wasn't able to promote such an artist (Anastacia) who is considered a legend all around the world except the US.
