We are The Curly Coopers, a vlogging family, who uploads videos of our life together every Tuesday and sometimes Saturday. My name is Duana and my husband’s name is Curtis. We have been together for almost 18 years in July. Our life would not be complete without our beautiful children Ia (12), Isaac (10), and Isaiah (7). We keep it real and love spending time together as a family. We love to explore what is around us and more. I hope you take this journey called life with us.

Try soaking in Epsom salts. My husband dropped a rear axle on his foot and there wasn't much they could do as far as a cast and what not. But ice and Epsom salt soak will heal it quick. Plus the Epsom salt soak is warm as opposed to ice.

Sorry you hurt your foot, Curtis but you are right, to get back on the board when you heal,because if you don't you won't get back on it. And Duana I am sorry you got Covid but as I said in the other video, I am surprised ya'll haven't had it before, because with the kids in school, they are like germ magnets. And Ia is growing up her hair looked nice. And the boys are growing by leaps and bounds. I hope ya'll have gotten better and don't get hit with the weather we are having in the northeast. We got hit with one snow storm, and another is on the way. But the worst part is the bitter cold, we have been having. As you know I want to move to Arizona, I didn't make last year, I am still praying for that and I believe the LORD will deliver in his time. *Right before Thanksgiving I fell down the last 3 steps at home. My ankle was swollen just like Curtis’s. It’s been two months of healing. Didn’t goto the hospital Bc I knew nothing was broken. Get well Curtis*
Hi Curly Coopers-Ooh, Curtis, I literally got chills when I saw your foot. I had flashbacks from so many times I have injured both of my ankles. PLEASE do what you need to do by listening to first, the Dr and then your loving wife who has YOUR best interest at heart. Take care family. Stay safe. 💕🥰💕🥰

Sorry to hear and see your bruised foot and ankle, rest, ice, compression, and elevation. I was in a boot for a couple weeks and then onto physical therapy for stretches.
Sister Duana feel better. Kids are growing up so quickly. You take good care of them.

I’ve been watching the family for years from playing the spoon game to Curtis’s first day of college, your date nights, family trips,, and always love cameos from Ms Anita. Sad to hear the trip to Germany was cancelled.

You cracked me up when you said you found out you really don't care for puzzles... lol! I used to love working on puzzles as a kid and bought one whenever I had the opportunity. I thought it would be fun as a adult to get a puzzle and work on it. Let me tell you the "thrill is gone" trying to now put any puzzle together... lol!😜😂

Watch you tube's "Bob and Brad, the two most famous physical therapists on the internet ('in their opinion')." They have youtube videos on ankle sprains, & exercises you should do to keep your ankle from becoming stiff. They've got many other types of videos as well. Best to you!

Oh my this looks real painful, how long will you be laid up, glad it was not as worst then it could be, my husband was the same way, they get a cold and are like 2 years boys, physical stronger than us women but we keep going and going , women are Wonder Woman . Get well soon Curtis
Don't delay on having a more indepth test done on your ankle and please do not put weight on it without the boot. There are very tiny bony areas in your ankle that can be damaged but a regular x-ray wont pick it up!

I just broke my right ankle never broke anything in 45 years . My fibula head and crushed some of the bones I'm a vegan turned down narcotics and just eat healthy foods that that has inflammation properties and I drink lots of tumeric tea . They make me sleep in this heavy nasty but Thankgod I don't go anywhere. By the way I didn't cry either lol I'm still shocked

Listen to your wife. Curtis , you need to be careful when you injure your back you will have back problems a long time. Take care of yourself , you have a lot going on : new house etc. Leave the skateboarding for the children.
